The Stanford PTO provides a forum where we can all join together to support Stanford Montessori by providing volunteers to the students, teachers and staff to enhance the quality of the educational experience of all Stanford Montessori students. Through our parents’ support and involvement, our PTO raises monies to fund programs such as purchasing additional resources for our classrooms and library, providing continued Montessori education for our wonderful teachers, to name a few. Equally important, our PTO-sponsored family events provide the opportunity for students, parents, teachers and friends to participate in a caring and sharing environment to show support for our school and the community.
“What’s so great about being part of Stanford PTO?” We all have a common bond. We care about creating the best possible experience for our children and supporting our wonderful teachers so they can do their best work for our children. Studies have shown that parental involvement directly influences your child’s performance. Involvement at the school also makes it easier to establish friendships with teachers and other parents.
