This is an amazing place to hold any event. Mona made my Cinderella wedding come true. They are the most professional people I’ve ever worked with. Mona made planning my wedding totally stress free. All I had to do is tell Mona what I wanted and she brought it to life. This ball room package Covers everything that you would need for a wedding or Sweet 16 or any occasion that you want to celebrate she can cover every detail. Everyone after the party raved that this was the best wedding that they had ever attended they also said it was the most elegant wedding they had attended. My son is going to get married next year and they have already told me that they are going to hold their wedding at the STAR BALLROOM in Laporte. I highly recommend that you make an appointment with Mona and go see the STAR BALLROOM for yourself
This place was amazing Mona made my Cinderella wedding come to life. They are the best people to work with. All of my guest had an amazing experience as well. I would highly recommend this place for special occasion. I would rate this place a 10 star
i had my baby shower here on January 14 unfortunately I am quite embarrassed with the services we received. From the beginning the owner "Alex" was very controlling about everything. They let us set up the Sunday before the event that away we were able to get some stuff out of the way. As we were there you could see the frustration in his face I had spoke to Mona earlier that day and she said it was fine for us to do that as long as we were out of the hall by 8 at the time they closed I said that was fine we would be done before then. We'll all of the sudden they made an excuse that they had an appointment and it felt like we were kicked out. So today was the event and everything turned out beautiful. But had major problems with service from the very beginning the owner was lingering throughout the entire event making all the ladies VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. He refused to load the restroom up with more toilet paper the toilets were not kept clean they smelt very bad I had to send someone home to get a candle to put in there. They also INVITED a GUEST WITHOUT my PERMISSION to MY EVENT! what Professional business does that ... as my event was getting full I ran out of seats he wanted to charge us 100$ for an extra table but said they would leave it for 80$ also they told me if we were not out of the hall by 10:00 we were going to have a fee of $600.00 .He also refused to turn on the AC as we were setting up hours before the event. as i am 9 Months Pregnant that was very Uncomfortable. I also allowed them to take photos of all my decorations and centerpieces, my snack table set up and all the details we worked hard on that we brought in and I didn't tell them a thing. Then on top of all that I also allowed my guest to enter a raffle for THEIR HALL for make up kits if they liked their page. I felt like I was fair to let them do that and I got treated with HORRIBLE service. All in all I loved the way the hall looked but honestly I wouldn't recommend this hall to anyone due to the management and the lack of communication. My guest complimented my set up so much but a lot of them also mentioned how uncomfortable they felt having the owner linger through the entire event as they felt a little uncomfortable. I was very embarrassed and disappointed in the outcome on how we were treated. I could name a few other things but I think this is enough to show how bad we were treated. I do not have a Facebook but i will be sure to have my family to leave reviews on how they felt that night
Very nice venue already went 3 times there same awsome experience, clean , good staff and look , i lke the chairs no one has those chairs
