Star Dental

Dr. Lloyd R. Price DDS is the rudest dentist I have ever met! I have been going to this office 2 years, the staff is friendly and their other dentist great. However Dr Price behaves as though he hates to be there. I walked out of my cleaning due to his unprofessional attitude. I would recommend he be avoided!!

'22/10 1st visit/Review: -- Small, clean, simple dental office upstairs in seen-better-days, two-story professional building with very sloped parking lot. Though very easy to find on main throughfare. -- No frills waiting room has about 8 chairs. -- Two person, front desk staff very kind and personable--whether by phone or in person; they genuinely take their time and listen no rushing about or impatient finger tapping. [5-Stars] -- Grateful they take Medi-Cal clients. -- As of this review, just one dentist Dr. Price works the facility doing simple dental work. Major dental work tooth pull, etc. is referred out to a dental specialist office. -- Agreed with other reviewer that Dr. Price has been around the block enough years that he lost his patient humanizing manners along the way. Today's visit I appreciate the 24 hour Emergency Appt fit in. Though, missing was the respectful introduction of doctor to patient, some small chit-chat, eye-to-eye ask open mouth--it felt more like a vet working on a dog no human-to-human type of bonding/respect required [3-Stars]. That said, the actual doctor-part of the appointment was VERY efficent with deft in-n-out situation assessment, once-over look, and knowledgable options laid out by Dr. Price--no attempt at overselling services.

Very friendly staff! Always willing to answer my many questions and the wait time has always been very minimal. The best part for me is that I have been able to get in within a week or two rather than being put on some wait list with no idea when an appointment will become available like some offices I have called HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going to Star Dental for about 2 years. Dr. Price and his staff are the best! I really appreciate all that they do. Thank you! And, Dr Price....please don't retire for at least another 10 years....
