Judy S. was absolutely incredible. She gave us the space we needed to view the floor on our own, like we had asked, but she was available at a moment’s notice to answer all of our questions. We liked her assistance so much we came back the following day & ended up purchasing even more fabulous furniture. If we ever need anything else for the house we will call Judy. She’s worth the time. Star Furniture is blessed to have her assistance & should be very proud of her. I’m sure we’ll be back.
Sam was no help and lied. Told us a Thursday delivery which was 6 days away and come to find out it was almost a month later for delivery. Should’ve known he didn’t know much cause the mattress price kept changing as he was helping. Really irritated me that he didn’t know all details and tried to act like it. Store manager never called back, so I called corporate customer service and Deja fixed my issue and will have the furniture here the Saturday after the supposedly Thursday delivery date. Update: Well, I received my furniture 4 days ago and they was missing 4 legs. They came out same day short a leg and said they’ll come today with 4 legs . Welp , 4 days later guess what… they still have only 3 legs and say it can take weeks or more to receive. How worse can this get?
Nice furniture, but wayyyy over priced. This too, is very disappointing. Are companies raising their prices, to make up for the loss of revenue due to covid-19 shutdowns? If not, it sure seems like it.
I have shopped for furniture at different stores. But to me the quality at Star’s is outstanding The purchasing experience was no less impressive I was thoroughly shown the product that most suitable to my taste and preference by the sale rep. He does take time and learns my taste, my preference. He never pressure me while walking me through the shop, assisting me making the right selection! He deserved 5 Stars for sure! It was definitely a pleasant experience shopping at Star furniture! I highly recommend it!
The store itself was very clean and the furniture was arranged nicely. They had a large selection of furniture. Judy was our sales representative. She greeted us with a smile, was very professional and helpful. She didn’t hoover over us bugging us every 5 seconds. She showed us where the recliner section was and left us alone checking in every so often. She didn’t try to high pressure sale us. We found the perfect recliner, it was very reasonably priced. The buying part was very organized, uniform, professional and easy. When I am in the market for furniture again, I will be shopping at Star Furniture and asking for Judy to help us. I highly recommend Star Furniture!
Jack is the sweetest salesman! He was very perceptive of my limited living room space. He pointed out items within my budget and understood what I was looking for. He even moved coffee tables around so I could know exactly what I was buying! I feel good knowing that I bought such high quality furniture.
It all starts with being greeted at the door by sales staff. We had a specific item in mind and our salesman got us to it quickly Our salesman was Bow tie Bob. We didn’t buy that day but had some questions the next day. He even replied from home on his day off sent us a video of item to answer our questions We will always look for Bob
This is our third purchase from Star and they are by far our favorite store in Austin! We purchased a single sofa during this trip for our play room. Maureen was great at being available when we needed help, checking on us periodically, but also providing us space to browse and discuss always a fantastic experience and we’ll be back when we need more! Our furniture from 2016 and 2019 are still fantastic pieces!
It took nearly 9 months to get our furniture with payment up front. Then the table showed up damaged and the installers did receive any of the hardware for the hutch. They indicated the lack of hardware happens alot. I called Star and was told they will replace damage but haven't heard from them 5 days later. The delivery process was nice though once it was scheduled. The communication was good with picture of lead installer and opportunity to track the installer truck location.
I was so impressed by my sales agent, Joe. He was professional, knowledgable and helpful in guiding me in my decision. The store has beautiful furniture and so many styles to choose from. I chose a beautiful bedroom set for my guest bedroom and can't wait for it to arrive!
