Star Nails

This was my first time at this nail salon. I came in and was immediately acknowledged and signed in. I didn’t have an appointment, but it only took about 10 minutes for me to get sat with a nail tech. I don’t know what her name was but she was really good and nice. She removed my previous acrylic nails and placed new ones on. She took her time with the filing and shaping making sure each nail was the same length as the other hand and same shape. She also waxed my eyebrows and they look way better now! A guy painted my nails and did the nail design, I do not know his name either. He also took his time and was nice and made sure to make my nails look exactly like the picture I had. He even brought more nail glitters to choose from that would look better, and he was right! I am overall very impressed and plan to go back again in the future!Services: Waxing

Overall happy with my experience. I got the Elegant Pedicure, but there is still some dry skin on my feet. I'll be using a pumice stone in my shower to get rid of the rest. My acrylic manicure was also good, but the cuticle care was lacking: I snipped some tiny hangnails with nippers myself and scrubbed my hands to remove dried acrylic from my fingers when I got home. Despite these minor items, I know that I can go to Star Nails if I need a touch-up or a full set on short notice, as they have a large staff and do pretty good work. Update 01/05/23 Green for the new year! Health wealth & abundance, feeling luckier already! This was one of the few times I've asked for a little design work & I was passed to at least three different people across my manicure, but I'm happy with it. Don't seem to specialize in artwork but it turned out super cute

I first want to say that I would recommend Bang and Shay Shay. However, Rose cut my toe and twice dug into my nail bed. Even when she knew she hurt me, she did it again. It’s been a week of my using antibiotic ointment due to the cut and swelling along with soaking my foot in epsom salt. I thought it was better until I wore closed toe shoes yesterday. My friend had a similar experience with a different young female manicurist that same weekend.Services: Pedicure

I went in with a picture of exactly what I wanted. I was told it could be done. Nails were wrong length.and looked nothing like the picture. Another nail tech "fixed" them by lengthening them with acrylic. My pinky nail now goes up at a 45 degree angle. When the first tech was asked about it he came over raising his voice at me and stating he asked me if that was the length I had wanted. He continued to walk around speaking in his native tongue in a very angry way. The 2nd nail tech then said I don't need the pic I know what it looks like. My valentines nails are bulky do not have the heart on them that is the reason I picked the design. And then realized I was chared 3.5% more for using my card bc the total I was given didn't match what I was being asked to pay on key pad. They did have a sign posted in the front of counter which is how I was aware of the reason for price difference. Don't waste your money. Not the relaxing experience I was hoping for.Services: Pedicure

It might be hard to see, but this is a few cuts from chop city. I am sure that every nail tech has their own work, but I got fast work that was not gentle. I am reviewing this, so others will know it's probably best to schedule your tech that does good work. Choose your tech wisely!!

Beautiful and cheap! Only $17 for a regular manicure and it's always great. I've been going weekly since first trying Star Nails; it's that good. The employees are very kind, take their time with me, and I love my experience everytime.

I’ve given this nail shop a few tries now, so I feel confident in leaving this review. I’ve gotten three manicures from three different techs, all did nice work. They were quick, and my nails turned out beautifully. I’d absolutely recommend them for a manicure. With this in mind I decided to give a pedicure a try, it was surprisingly not good. I felt like it was rushed, and not at all thoroughly done. I’m really surprised because others give their pedicures great reviews. I’m guessing they just don’t know any better. Overall I’d still recommend giving this shop a try…at least for a quick manicure, but maybe think about taking your feet elsewhere.

I wanted a nice, relaxing pedicure, and I got just the opposite. When trimming my cuticles she cut my toe I was bleeding. I chose the organic volcano $70 to treat myself. Didn’t spend even an hour on us. It was like they are heading cattle how many can they get out. Came with a 12 minute “massage” not even sure my lady was licensed. DO NOT RECOMMENDService: Pedicure
