The seniorita bread is the reason to stop here. Always hot and always amazing. The service has always been so fast and easy to work with. Never a line too long.
Tasty, buttery, and warm seniorita bread. What's not to like? 15 pieces for $6
StarBread is probably the Star of this shopping center! It has a little bit of everything from their famous Starbread to the Hopia.
Yes, it's worth the hype with the Senorita Bread. It's perfectly warm, buttery and sweet. I got the 10 piece which was $5. The man at the counter was very nice and service was quick. I even wanted to get the rice cakes but he was so honest and said they weren't good that day. Lol plenty of parking in the strip mall, gotta love the no frills mom and pop shops. The bread was still delicious reheated hours later.
Omg so amazing. Wow. Love the star bread. This is my first time buying it and introducing it to my family. Huge hit. Super fresh. But be careful, the box it hot cause the bread is that fresh. This is the best place to buy it....so I've been told.....and I would agree. This is the place.
One of my new favorite things. A co-worker brought a big box into work to share and I had to go for myself and get a box! Senorita bread is so good!!!
This place is definitely worth 5 stars. My one star off is for the misleading hours on google maps. Came here early Friday morning 4:45 because google maps said they were open. They were not. Even though it says 24 hours on Friday, be aware that 24 hours starts at 5:30.
There's nothing like the smell and taste freshly baked spanish rolls. The nostalgia of the Philippines hits me whenever I experience it. It's a good place to go to after finishing a meal from Ling Nam as well as any other time of the day.
The Starbread Senorita bread is at the far end of the counter when you enter, but even though it is the smallest part of the counter, it does the lion's share of the business here. The weekends are packed with people ordering Senorita Bread. They bake the bread fresh when you order it, you have to wait 6 minutes, but fresh, it's a little bit of gooey, artery-clogging heaven.
Located inside Ling Nam I came here for the star bread, which I completely neglected for years because I’d only come here late night when I was drunk. I’d actually hadn’t been here in the day time until recently and therefor wasn’t getting Star Bread. Daytime is when my sweet tooth is strongest. We came here solely for the Senorita bread which they bake to order. All these years I’d never noticed, but this place is popular, just look at the to go boxes stacked to the ceiling in the back. Protip: since they are made fresh, they come out hot, like wait 10 minutes before you open the box hot. This is the perfect thing to take home beucase it’s perfect upon arrival. I’ve burned my mouth half the time I get these because they are that good that maybe I don’t care. Cash only. The pan de sal is smaller than what I get back in Socal, which is nice, more along the size lines of PI. The hopia is dry. Senorita bread is basically pan de sal dough rolled and filled with butter, sugar and then dipped it’s bottom in honey. LEGIT. We’ve all dipped out pan de sal in chocolate milk as kids and smeared butter on it and topped with sugar and then toasted, but this is small, portable and next level. Simple yet refined, something we could all do at home bootlegged.
