"Starkweather is a community arts center and non profit on Main Street in historic Romeo, MI. We are housed in the 1865 home of Helen Starkweather, who was an art and drafting teacher in Romeo Schools for 40 years. We offer gallery art shows, gift shop, classes, music programs and community events. We are staffed by volunteers who share Helen's vision of promoting the arts to our community."
