Stars Drive In of McAllen

Ordered the ultimate burger. It was fantastic. I hadn't been to stars in a while and I had forgotten how good their burgers are. The service was great and my burger was fresh and amazing. This will now be my go to burger whenever I want to eat a great burger. If you like jalapeños this is the burger. The pic I included is half eaten already as I want going to write a review, but this burger was so good, it fully deserved one. It's clearly a 10 out of a 10. Parking: Plentiful

The food was great all around. We ordered a burger combo and the meal tasted fresh. The banana split we had was also very good. I loved the quick service we were given even with the line of cars in rush hour! Will definitely come back to this location!Food: 5/5

Recently moved nearby and this has become an easy, dependably good, and friendly stop for us quite often recently. Personally, never had any issues at this location. We order on the scan code available and the food is always pretty quick and ALWAYS FRESH. Can’t go wrong with a strawberry pineapple slush on a hot day too, thanks for the consistency!

Ordered a burger combo asked for only meat, cheese, mayo and the bun. I got a burger with everything I let them know it was wrong and they took it to have it fixes, they brought the next one out and again it was wrong!! I clicked the bitton and the person on the other end said that was what I had ordered! I repeated what i had said when placing the order and then asked for my money back since my lunch break was over and I didn't have time to wait on a new burger. They came out to the car to let me know that the money would go back on my card and take the drink and food back. Telling me that I was wrong was very wrong on the person who did that. I understand that mistakes are made but that was rude specially when I know what I Ordered. Now I just get to do a whole day with out food cause they can't follow simply instructions.

Short staffed is understandable. But very rude. No ketchup or Salts. Asked for cheese on burgers. No cheese on burgers. Asked for mustard on hot dog. No mustard in hot dog. Only half the hotdogs had chili. And the young girl was very rude.Food: 1/5
