After twelve years in Emergency Medical Services, I know that quick responses to medical emergencies are critical. As a trained Firefighter and Paramedic, I know that first responders to a medical emergency are often family members, friends, co workers, and even strangers. I offer American Heart Association courses to equip you as a qualified first responder. You will learn the life saving skills of First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), BLS for Healthcare Providers, ECG and Pharmacology. With these skills, you may make the difference between life and death for a patient, family member, a friend, a co-worker, or maybe even a stranger.
The American Heart Association is committed to equipping ALL people to respond to medical emergencies - Healthcare Professionals, Non-Healthcare Professionals, parents, teachers, coaches, caregivers and family members. As an Instructor for AHA, my goal is to teach these life-saving skills in a comfortable environment until each person is confident with his or her knowledge and skills of the subject. I have the flexibility to teach at your facility, allowing a more relaxed atmosphere for you staff and family. Doing this also allows for a more comfortable, convenient, and cost-effective experience for all. At the completion of training, all students will receive an AHA certification and/or card that is valid for 2 years, and approved by OSHA.
