Not a great selection of bowling balls, but I could manage. The place seems somewhat old. You can learn all you need to know about the place by seeing their paper towel dispensers.
Pricing fair, drinks good,our balls kept getting stuck, they moved us 2x. We had to get the staff to help, that wasted alot of our time and frustrated us. They play music and have cool lights at night. But I gave them a 2 because it's a place to bowl and it's not fun running around trying to find staff to get our balls every 5 minutes
Great staff, bar tender was fantastic I recommend tipping him well because of it. Lanes were a bit dry, but to be expected on rocking glow bowl night. Had a great time!
The "manager Dave" is by far the worst person customer service wise I've ever had to deal with. My friends and I go to state lanes almost every weekend to let off steam after the work week and bowl. Mainly because of dollar beers, however we pay for multiple hours of bowling along with drinks. DAVE and DAVE only exercises very poor customer service. Example, We went to DAVE about our bowling lane ball return not working. We wasted close to a half hour waiting for our balls to return before complaining. DAVE told us "it is what it is." Shortly after talking to one of the younger workers they moved us to another lane without any issue. The following weekend we paid for 4 hours of bowling and when we had over 10 minutes left in our game, DAVE told us too bad we are closing. This was almost an hour before the closing time posted on line. We have come here multiple times and spent a good amount of money and every time we have an issue with how DAVE treats the customers. We have spoken to other employees and they have all told us the same thing. "Dave does what he wants to do and a lot of customers complain about him." We have come to state lanes every weekend for over 2 months, and damn near every time we have been there, DAVE has personally been very disrespectful to us. However when ever we seem to ask the SAME questions to any of the other employees, we get great customer service. The issue with this bowling alley is 199% DAVE. We will no longer be going until Dave is gone. This is a review not a joke. He has personally lost a lot of business for this company.
I have been bowling here every Saturday night and have had a constant run in with the manager Dave every night. From getting terrible lanes that are strictly used for bumpers to closing far before closing time and not acknowledging my time already purchased. I go here to release steam from the week every saturday and spend alot of money to enjoy my time off. Every saturday I have to deal with this unprofessional person and am constantly disappointed. Why have someone in charge that closes 50 minutes before closing every time when you purchase 4 hours of bowling every saturday? DAVE you need to step down and allow someone with real customer service interject on your behalf. I own and run my own business and cannot understand why upper management deems this man appropriate to run the most profitable hours for any bowling alley. If I was an undercover boss he would be terminated immediately without hesitation. If anyone knows how to contact upper management please let me know. This man needs terminated immediately. Do not bowl here if Dave is present on the clock, because you will receive the worst service. Also I bowl with 4 other business owners every saturday and they all agree. I will continue making these reviews and will make noise until he resigns from employment or until I am in contact with someone who can terminate this mans employment.
Kind of a classic 80s bowling feel, but also looks as though it hasn't been uotaded since then either. My school's bowling team practices here, but even though it feels and looks like this place never left the 80s, it's still a solid bowling alley for fun or for teams.
It's time to call it quits. This severely outdated alley needs better maint. Rundown, broken ball returns that leave belt goo stuck to balls, screws that put multiple nicks all over the balls, oil patterns that change or don't hold up week in & week out. Staff is nice ,except for the older .skinny little snackbar witch, what an attitude! Basically, either fix it up or SELL the GD thing! A bulldozer would do wonders!
Horrible service. Understaffed. Was over charged and when i said something the bar tender couldn't credit my card. And gave me cash back and was still. Incorrect. Horrible place will never come back here again. Its gone way downhill. Sad because i used to love coming here!
Horrible service, was jammed more than 50% of the time, over a half hour wait on food, which was cold, and didn't bother to give eating utensils. Will never be returning.
