"Statesville Montessori School, founded in 1979, is a NC state approved American Montessori Society affiliated school with two campuses. Our Children's House has 2 1/2 to 5 year olds while the elementary and middle school campus has pre-kindergarten through the eighth grade.SMS is committed to diversity in its student/faculty population and practices a non-discriminatory policy in relation to race, religion, and national origin.Programs are offered mid August to June for a 180 day academic school year.
