This is one of my favorite places to walk in Statesville with paved trails over 3 miles, 2 playgrounds for kids, 3 covered shelters for events, 2 clean bathrooms, volleyball court, frisbee golf course as well as several soccer fields! Great place to bring the whole family!

I drove from WV to see my 4 year old grandson play soccer at this complex. I, along with many other parents, grandparents were excited to see the littles play, however, after getting there the coach informed us that due to "Arbor Day" activities they had closed down all of the fields so the kids couldn't play. He, as the coach, said he was not emailed or informed by the powers that be that the fields were closed. He said this is not the 1st time there has been problems in the communication arena. My daughter said there has been more than 1 issue with communicating with the coach re the fields. Pretty sad commentary in my opinion for such a place!!!!!
It's a good place to take the kids for fun and games, etc. There are big trees that can be used as backgrounds for photo ops, too.
Took my grandkids for the first time today ... They loved it ! My granddaughter rode her bike without training wheels my grandson rode his razor . They had so much fun
Really nice area with plenty of covered picnic areas with soccer fields and a Greenway. Wonderful vistas at sunset. For 4th of July this is a great place to see fireworks!
Nice place to take a walk and enjoy a clean and well kept park. My daughter played on the playground
Had to climb over 2 gates and barbed wire. Entrance to parking takes an hour. Never again!!!

Perfect for bringing the boys. They always have a grand time there. Lots of playground equipment for them to explore and learn new things. Safe area. Picnic and BBQ areas. Walking and biking trails. Has everything for the whole family
