I fail to understand how anyone or any storage business can keep doing buisness the way this location is handled. We moved our belongings out of one of the units at this location due to roaches found inside our items, and are seriously considering canceling and moving out two other units as well, one company and one individual. In 7 months of personal usage, an attendant has only been on site 2 times, despite being within buisness hours- 2times!! The self service kiosk has only worked for maybe 1 month in the last six, no one ever answers the phone, and customer service is managed 3rd party. My online log in does not show any units rented, and the last time someone was on site, they changed my gate code, so after moving out of one unit I no longer have access to my other personal unit. For the monthly price, no support and hassle to access, this location is NOT worth it
Corporate is lousy 2-stars. The local staff is good 4-stars. They expanded the parking area we park our travel trailer there and “corporate” sent me a text that they were going to tow my RV if I didn’t call right away. The local staff apologized for corporate sending me the negative tone of the text. I needed to move my RV to the new spot - against the fence which is overgrown with kudzu vines and is already growing on the ground under these new spaces. I pulled up the vines as best on my new space but encroachment from other spaces is going to become a problem pretty quick. We sometimes are away from the area for 3 or 4 months - I shouldn’t have to deal with invasive fast-growing vines. I’m concerned that the vines are going to end up growing onto my RV and damage it. This isn’t the first time corporate has sent aggressive threatening texts. Previously they texted me that they were going to begin adding an insurance fee if I didn’t select an insurance package to insure the contents of my storage unit. Again, I called and explained to the local staff that I’m parking my RV and I don’t have a storage unit. They apologized that corporate sent the insurance threat text to everyone and the corporate program doesn’t recognize that it doesn’t apply to those who are renting an outdoor parking space. I am an excellent customer and have automatic bill pay and I’m never late with my payment. I’ve been renting my parking space for over a year at this location. I don’t deserve corporate’s strong arm texts as if I’m a scofflaw. Right now I’m worried about the invasive kudzu and whether the local staff will keep it in check. Oh, and the gate access isn’t working and the lot is always open. Not very secure. The 4-stars is for the local staff 5-stars if the gate and kudzu are taken care of 24/7. I give corporate 2-stars for their arrogant and aggressive tone of their texts and rudimentary algorithms.
I talked with Meghan at USA Storage in Statham,GA. She was extremely helpful, kind, and so patient - even though it was close to her closing time for the day. Do not believe I would have gotten through the gnarly process without her expert helpfulness. She is certainly a credit to your organization...an asset as she, should never go unnoticed or unrewarded. Thank you Meghan...
The manager at the Statham, GA location is so friendly and helpful. He made the process of renting a storage unit easy and quick. I was shown a few different units before making a final decision on the size, which is so nice! Who would want to rent a unit too big and waste their money?! Overall, a pleasant experience, and I’m very satisfied with the products and excellent customer service.
It was a very easy and pleasant experience. Gary in the office was very helpful and got me signed up and ready to go in no time. Made sure to show me the room sizes before making a decision so I could see the actual space itself…not just guess by looking at the square footage on paper.
This is my first time renting a storage unit. Gary in the office was very friendly and helpful. He even took me on his golf cart to show me where my unit was. I will surely recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Gray for the great customer service
I am glad I chose USA Storage Centers. Gary was super helpful and attentive. Without even asking, they took the topic of ease of access to a high importance. Facility looks to be well maintained. I have trusted my life work and accumulation, of value, with this facility. Thanks for all the help!
This is a very nice, well managed, establishment. Gary Huggins in particular was very informative, profesional and kind with giving me a discount which was very unexpected but much appreciated. He helped me to figure out what would work best for me and my situation. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with storage needs.
Megan was amazing and super knowledgeable. She went above and beyond making sure I understood what the pricing would be.
I was afraid that I would not find a place similar to the one I had near the Mall of Ga, but I was lucky and I did. The best part for me has been the manager, Gary. I cannot stand a place that has someone that you just hope you don’t run into. Gary is the opposite of that person for me. Moving stuff is NO fun!!! The last week of my life has been awful with moving a house into storage by myself!!! Thankfully Gary, his sense of humor and him talking to me like we’ve known each other a while, made it better. I’m afraid I’m gonna be so bored in Winder, that I may go to storage just so I can have a laugh with Gary. WOW I need a girlfriend Great place, VERY clean, nice location and easy access!!!
