I love libraries!! The cozy quiet and the librarians here and so helpful; they really know their stuff and if they dont have an answer they work hard to get you to the right area to get one. Thank you Staunton Public Library!!
A very nice library that offers a lot besides just your basic books and such. The staff are very nice, friendly, and helpful.
This library has a lot to offer. Great handouts and materials for you to take on their services and programs. Several newspapers to read daily, quiet reading room, self check out, and quick internet computers if you have to use a computer fast.
Great library especially during the COVID lock-down as they have many DVDs, books, and great services and cool spaces to sit and relax.
The library is relaxing and full of friendly people ready to help people find what they need.
Public libraries are, without a doubt, one of the best ideas mankind has ever had, and I feel comfortable with saying that Staunton Public Library lives up to that ideal. Aside from providing free books and media, the library also provides a vital public service to the homeless and other people in need through their free to use computers good for job hunting and applying for benefits to just being a place to take refuge from the heat of summer and the cold of winter.
Great stock and friendly staff. Sad to see all the “doomerisms” though masks, plexiglass partitions and such my 4 year old was sad that the kids play area was still closed off even though this Covid hype should be long considered over by now.
Almost everyone of the library assistants are very attentive to the Public's needs for books, DVDs, Etc. They go out of their way to make the library a pleasant experience. The only drawback is that we still have to wear masks inside the Library.
If you’re not going to be open on Sunday’s, fix your website that says so. As a teacher who has a majority of her time to do things on weekends, your inaccurate schedule makes life more difficult. Posting it on your door doesn’t do a whole lot of a good for many people.
Wonderful library! Was so glad to be able to visit today and see the precautions they are taking to keep their staff safe during the COVID pandemic. They have a fantastic collection and the book recommendations from staff are fantastic—you can submit your preferences, and they'll give you five recommendations. I discovered a number of great books this way!
