Steak 'n Shake, a classic American brand, was founded in 1934 in Normal, Illinois by Gus Belt who pioneered the concept of premium burgers and milkshakes.

For over 80 years, the company’s name has been symbolic of its heritage. The word “steak” stood for steakburger. The term “shake” stood for hand-dipped milkshakes. Gus was determined to serve his customers the finest burgers and shakes in the business.

Today, Steak 'n Shake remains the “better burger” leader, serving premium 100% beef steakburgers, hand-dipped milkshakes, thin crispy fries, and more. Steakburgers are made without preservatives or artificial ingredients, topped with fresh produce, and always hand-crafted to order. Other classics include the Frisco Melt, 7x7, Prime Steakburgers, and fan favorite M&M milkshakes.

The only reason this is 2 stars instead of 5 is because they charge for drink refills. For a drink that costs 2.50$ it is highway robbery to the fact that they don’t let you refill it. Food was amazing but the fact that you can’t refill your drink totally ruins the experience.Food: 5/5
Waited 20 minutes for my basic standard order of a dbl cheese w/fries. After finally getting my order I asked for a fresh Root Beer. The server insisted on handing me a drink that was sitting on the counter. I asked again for a fresh drink and she said no this is the freshest Im going to get. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. This location at the Webb center needs attention and better customer service
Food here is good for the price. However, the speed is on the slower side. If you happen to be in the Webb center it is definitely quicker to just to go to Chick Fil A instead if you're in a rush. But, if you have that craving for meat that a chicken patty just can't satisfy, definitely head here
Food quality is SLAMMING! Best chili cheese fries I’ve ever had. It would be helpful to update hours for accuracy though
I'm going to this place a few times because the bowling alley where I bowl is right behind it. However when I went last there was only a female there and I specifically indicated what I wanted on my steak sandwich two times and what I didn't want. When I got home they were onions on it and I cannot eat onions. I will not be going there again when she is there.
I love this place. More should be around. Best food and milkshakes I ever had. Keep on doing your job just make sure the employees are on check!
Messed my order all up. Forgot I ordered, then took 15 minutes to make it and then made me chili cheese fries with no chili …. I just left … whatever.
Bad, just like bad, maybe once a blue moon, but definitely not a first choice unless your looking to be dissatisfied
The female manager is very rude I believe her name is Monique… don’t recommend going to this establishment
It was good when I got it. Staff was super nice.
