Steel Center is a part of the public school system. It is operated by 11 school districts in Southern Allegheny County. These operating school districts are: Baldwin-Whitehall School District, Bethel Park School District, Brentwood Borough School District, Clairton City School District, Duquesne City School District, Elizabeth Forward School District, South Allegheny School District, South Park School District, Steel Valley School District, West Jefferson Hills School District, West Mifflin Area School District. Steel Center offers the following programs of study to 10th, 11th and 12th grade students: Advertising & Design, Automotive Mechanics, Baking/Pastry Chef, Building Trades Maintenance, Carpentry, Collision Repair & Refinishing, Computer Information Systems, Cosmetology, Medium Heavy Truck, Protective Services, Retail, Food Merchandising & Production.
