Love this place. Peacefully setback from river traffic but within 1 minute of setting your boat in to join river traffic. Relaxation at its best

Update 2022: Bar still open but no restaurant! What a bummer! Original review: Fantastic German food or whatever else you like on Bluff lake. Get here by car or boat. You can enjoy your meal outside from the top of ridge with a great view of the docks and lake, or sit inside. The portion size is large, making it a good value too. The soup / salad / bread bar has lots of uncommon choices too, which made it a great choice. We will be back for sure.

Disappointed. First. They don't take credit cards. What respectful business doesn't accept credit cards these days. Other things. Building from the 50s and that had to be the last time anything was done with it. Food? Potato pancakes from the box, schnitzel dry and tasteless... we ordered 6 different items and nothing was any good. But staff is nice that's why I feel bad to be harsh. Don't recommend. Will not go back...

Wonderful bar and German restaurant. We love coming here and eating while watching the boats on the lake. Disappointed for the 2016 season as the soup and salad bar, which was wonderful is now gone. The menu has been reduced as well. Food and atmosphere still good, just no longer 5 star.

Sadly disappointed, i have been here years ago and everything was great. This time, i wasn't impressed, the fish on Friday I won't be back for and the other people in our party were not very delighted with it either, one had a burger she didn't want to finish. But let me tell you the beer was good and cold, chilled to the perfect temp. But Miller lite is easy to serve. Service was very slow and the restaurant wasn't full. Sorry Seitz i won't be back.

Good food. Good service. Beautiful view. The sauerkraut and German meatballs were amazing, as well as the fried mozzarella sticks. Yum! Not a fan of spaetzle. Never have been. If you like spaetzle, you'll probably like this spaetzle. All-in-all, a great experience. I can't wait to return and try the so many other interesting menu items.

We were hoping for a true german experience...instead we got this. Disgusting salads for starters, smelly water, wienerschnitzel meals that must have been made by a new chef or something. Potato pancakes?...more like hash browns turned into a patty. To top it off the waitress was rude. Waste of money!

Perch dinner is awesome! Lots to eat! Soup and salad too! Everyone was happy happy happy in our family group of 8! Service was great too!

Good food with generous portions. The wait staff was very attentive. The views of the lake at sunset were awesome. We will be dining here again.

Fabulous, historic and entertaining. Service is friendly and laid back. Great menu of German offerings complimented with truly special specials. I enjoy Thursday German night and my GF likes Friday'sPrime. Anytime there is simply: Fabulous!
