Delightful restaurant! I ordered the Nashville Hot and it did not disappoint. Juicy chicken thigh in a crispy shell dripping with some decent heat. Now I have to come back and try the shrimp and grits!Food: 5/5
Very great food and service from the staff. Line was super long with a group of 25 in front of my group and the manager handled it very professionally and made the long line very smooth. I love their fresh orange juice!Food: 5/5
Good brunch if you are in the mood for southern food. I got the southern Benedict which has biscuits, white gravy with sausage, ham, and eggs. I was worried that the gravy was going to be too overpowering but it was quite nice.Food: 4/5
The space is open and bright. You can actually hold a conversation even when the place is busy. The staff is very friendly and the tables are cleared quickly so they do keep up with the turnaround. We had the egg cetera and the huevos rancheros. It was delicious. Thier biscuits are thier staple and I can taste why . I recommend that you study the menu if you haven't been here before.
Super yummy and good quality food. The presentation was amazing and the taste matched the presentation. I was afraid the shrimp would be bad quality and taste old and fishy, but it tasted great. I don’t have many complaints about this restaurant, except that I wish their beignets came with some type of sauce but they’re still delicious! and that their lemonade tasted very chemical-like, almost like a lemon bleach.
It took me a while to find something I really liked here, but on our past visit, this place exceeded my expectations. The SEC is delicious and we had a gift card, so we tried a half order of the churro French toast… y’all. It was AMAZING. You need to try it. Everything was great and service was great as well. Also the OJ is so yummy!Food: 5/5
Just passing through and stopped for lunch. So glad we did! I had the Shrimp & Grits—probably the best cheese grits I’ve ever had sorry, Mom, flavor was fabulous and so creamy. Husband had a burger and fries that he also said was one of the best he’s had—which is saying something considering it’s one of his dietary staples. Highly recommend!
These guys are always hopping for a reason. The fried green tomato blt absolutely slaps and it’s such an awesome way to elevate a classic sandwich. My bf also really loved their chicken sandwich, and for these standouts I give them 5 stars. I know the menu changes occasionally but I don’t really love their cornflake chicken nor their beignets. Both of those items seem to attract people but I thought the benighted are usually a bit dry compared to what you can get in nola.
Excellent experience and wonderful food. It's not what I would call traditional Texas Southern food, but we loved everything! Stop in and try the Beignets or the biscuits. You'll be glad you did.Food: 5/5
Passing through College Station and needed some good coffee. They advertised Pecan flavor and had me at hello. Decided to get some food as well and glad we did. I went with fried eggs, ham, bacon and sausage. Found out they use vital farms eggs and it shows when you break the beautiful orange yolk. Bacon was crispy and sausage was spiced nicely. My lady had the pot roast and eggs and she raves about how tender the pot roast was but moreover, she loved the jalapeño grits citing that it was spiced perfectly where you can actually taste the jalapeño. Well organized atmosphere and very clean. Also, the staff seemed very friendly and everyone was wearing a smile. Very enjoyable way to start your day. Come out and support your local restaurants and avoid chains. I highly recommend this place!
