Great track but I’ve seen it all here. People walking in big groups blocking lanes for others. People riding bikes on the track just ruining surface. Football teams just blocking the track they have the entire field. People walking opposite direction of others using track. People walking crazy looking dogs on track even opposite of traffic with dogs leaping towards people. People riding motored toys on there. Batting practice on the track. People just need to learn to be courteous to people wanting to utilize the track.
Space is open... But considering this is a West Hartford field, I just expected better. The fact that our boys had to play on what appeared to be a makeshift field with no goal posts and no guest bleachers... not to mention that they are okay with their own boys playing like that... Is absolutely ridiculous. The entire area was subpar and looked like something you'd see in an area with less funding. West Hartford needs to step up their game. Their kids deserve a better area to play. The only reason they are getting the 2 stars is because the field was overall CLEAN minus the bathrooms!! and they had a working scoreboard... But the rest was overall disappointing.
I love this field as it is so close to my house. It has the closest track on this side of the town. I wish the town would value the track and conduct more maintenance to upkeep or redo the track surface.
I feel comfortable when walking the track. You see people achieving the same goals as you. Highly recommend.
Outstanding facilities for sports. Really enjoyed my visit to see my 5year old Grandson play baseball

This is a great spot for a walk or taking pictures for a wedding/graduation.
