Some other reviews had me worried, but don't worry. The whole passport application + picture was smooth and simple if you come prepared, and the workers are helpful. They're also polite, and it's an easy in-and-out unless you need more help/have questions. I come every now and then to post packages, and there's never ever anything wrong.
If I could give a 0 I would. Customer service here is nonexistent. Apparently the employees are allowed to yell in a lobby full of people, put the window closed sign up if they don’t want to help you and threaten to call the police for getting back in line after waiting at a door for a supervisor about stolen/lost mail and no one ever coming to help. I stood back in line after no one came to the door for 20 minutes. Stood in line quietly didn’t yell or get rude even after standing and waiting in line again for another 15 minutes. When it was clear the black woman didn’t want to help or simply provide a direct phone number, I asked the other employees if there was one and was ignored. Once again this is for mail that was scanned in from the post office to be delivered last week. Even previous times I have mailed things they just have been so rude and reckless about how they talk to people. They need to learn to hire people with substance or learn how to train their employees properly. Who threatens to call the police on somebody for WAITING to find out where there mail has gone???
If I could give this location no stars I would. The ladies that work in the front are very disrespectful and rude especially Rhonda the one with the Christmas Bell necklace. I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I had to for them. I waited in line for 20 minutes just as I walked up to Rhonda she didn’t greet or smile just stared at me with a look of disgust and when I told her I had a scheduled appointment she gave me a sheet and told me that I needed to go all the way to Clinton township in a very bad manner and then called the next person in line. When I asked the reason she was like she could help or give me a real answer. I will never come back here again. Just very disappointed at the service.
1 Yesterday a package was STUFFED into my mailbox and the mailbox door was left open for everyone to see. Package was JAMMED into my mailbox because I GUESS the mailman was too lazy to actually deliver the package to my door. The gift box that the item was packaged in was destroyed because of this! 2 Package supposedly delivered by UPS to SHPO last TUESDAY still not delivered or accepted by the SHPO. STILL NOT DELIVERED!!!! Today is Sunday 3 Have another package at the SHPO that UPS delivered to them that I also still do not have. 4 I am furious with this service and the fact that UPS shipped packages take 2-3 times longer to actually get because they turn them over to the USPS for final delivery. This adds a ton more time to receiving orders and now, with the stuffing of them into my mailbox....damage therein. There needs to be new leadership throughout the USPS. I am totally disgusted with them as well as the local SHPO. 5 Don't ask me to "cut them a break". I paid good money for gifts to be delivered and handled with care. There are NO EXCUSES for this.
My son dropped the packages, he flipped the cart hardly by mistake, then an African American lady I believe she manager opened the door and started complaining loud, she was very rude, tried to apologize but she never listened, very low attitude, zero customer service skills. I wanna tell her how about thousands of lost and damage packages that you cause every year without any compensation? Better fix your issues before you been rude.
A self service kiosk open late at night allows you to mail when it's not busy, avoiding a lot of contact with people. There are always boxes stocked, except on usual holidays, like Christmas. Come in and support your local Post Office by sending some physical mail someone might enjoy opening for a change!
The worst post office ever they lost my package I tried to speak with a supervisor and the lady said I better be lucky she answered my call cause they are busy got loud and rude with me so I hung up on her just did a address change to my daughter's house this how much I can't stand them and they can't even get that right went up there and an elder African American man told me they hold your mail I called and ask Eastpoint Post Office they said they never heard of sure a thing. Y'all need to be replaced or closed cause all of y'all are horrible and I reported this location to the Better Business Bureau
I wish there us 0 stars, first time doing bad review, not professional at all, scheduled my kids for passport appointment for two times every time the employeeShe tilling my wife to bring something different and cancel the appointment with out even spend time to explain or checking the rest of the paperwork, USPS sterling Heights you have to find non lazy people to help your residents , will apply in Troy next time
0 Stars. Absolute TERRIBLE customer service. A blonde, older woman working the counter offered ZERO explanation as to why my package status changed from “Out for Delivery” to “Held at Post Office Per Customer Request”. I did not change it. Instead, she walked away saying “sorry for your confusion” multiple times. Disrespectful and a waste of time going here.
Rude woman at the counter kept interrupting me the moment I started speaking. Would neither let me say what I had come and waited in line for nor let me finish my question before interrupting me.
