Decent breakfast spot overall. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was like most diner type establishments. The wait staff was good and fairly attentive. Food was average, but tasty. Nothing revolutionary, but better than a Denny's. The only gripe might be that food came out lukewarm and seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. And the pancake sucked, just floppy and a bit underdone. A highlight was their hollandaise sauce aka sterling sauce. They make a cheese sauce with cream which I was leary of, but it actually was great.
Ultra attractive people work here. But the food has an off taste, almost like it’s been in the freezer for a long time and quickly thawed. Ingredients are not always the freshest. Nice building and nice seating area. I like the Clearwater location, more pleasant.Food: 1/5
My dad reccomended this place because they had breakfast here and really liked it. We came for lunch, the waiter although was polite took forever to attend our table. The food took a long time and most of what we got was overcooked or tasted off. We waited a long time to receive our check and it never came. Had to get up and walk to the front to pay. When we went to pay they tried charging us for an extra meal that we didn't order. They charged my dad over 80 dollars extra and they didn't know where they messed up but agreed that the charge was wrong and gave my dad the difference back. Luckily we caught it before leaving. First and last time for us.
My server Raymond was great! He helped me with what I wanted to order and got be a good deal with the salad bar. Order pretty much anything and get the all you can eat salad bar for another $8. Salad bar was fresh and has a lot of variety and lots of soups to choose from.Food: 5/5
Got the salad bar.picked over vegetables to find the freshest. Edges were brown. Something tasted old.not sure if was the cheese. Definitely not right somehow. Afraid to eat it.only ate a couple of bites.. Told manager we did not like the food at all. We could not eat it. He said he could charge us for a one time trip instead of all you can eat. Our ticket went from 40 some odd dollars to34.43. We paid that much for food we didn't eat. He checked to see if we ate it or not. I am not a picky eater at all. I was going to eat just the soup. The clam chowder was fishy or old. Not sure. Not happy at all. Don't plan on going back. Very disappointing. APRIL 22, Thank you for prompt response. Very satisfied with your resolution. . Food ok those who ordered steak seemed much happier than those who ordered pasta, servers great with several teaming up smoothly to care for us. Menus didn't specify that breakfast is no longer available in afternoon, which greatly confused my party which included both locals who typically brunch and out-of-towners. ETA: Management wrote back that the diaper station in the men's room is within the ADA compliant stall. Perhaps the stall was occupied at the time of need or it had little signage, but it all boils down to communication glitches/you don't know what you don't know. Considering responsiveness of management I would not be surprised if signs got updated for men's room within two months and breakfast hours at next menu reprint. Also note that every menu item has a number so you may get recommendations from patrons that sound like college students discussing their schedules, but not a problem as far as I could tell. Kid-friendliness: More options than most places on kids menu; high chairs available; waitstaff understanding. Older kids got crayons. Diaper station in ADA stall of men's room.
I swear I'm in love with Keelie. She was our server on my dad's birthday and she was a sweetheart I was crushing the whole time. The food at this Sterling's is literally so much better than the G. Way Sterling's plus the wait time is shorter since they have a massive amount of seating compared to the other locations! Thank you Sterling's for never dissapointing! The California Egg Sterling is what I get all the time. Will always love it!
I was there as part of a large group of people. The service was great, and even though I walked in late, I didn't have to wait very long for my food. I had one of the reasonable priced dinner deals which included grilled shrimp, a delicious steak and a loaded baked potato. Even though there were lots of people it was still easy to talk with the people at my table, so the acoustics were great. I also liked the art that was on display.
I paid $17 dollars for a crusty salad bar. The pepperoni was covered in a white film the black olives tastes rancid. And the clam chowder was not even good enough to finish the bowl. In all we spent $80 and was SO mad that I went to get a burger because I was no where satisfied for dinner. Prices way to high and food sub par! Will never go back!
Eh maybe I'm not their age demographic 33 the waitress was rude, non attentive to me or my girl friend but was really friendly to her parents. I had to wave her down for a drink. Never asked us once if we wanted a refill on our drinks but asked my girl friends parents several times if they wanted refills and how was their food. My girl friend's daughter spilled her drink, the waitress never asked if we wanted a replacement. We ended up cleaning the mess, but the waitress made a comment about it. I was not impressed. I don't think i will be back. I didn't leave much of a tip to be honest for the lack of service. The manager Andrew started counting it out loud as i was in the bathroom on my way out saying "that's it". Yeah I tip based on how I'm serviced and treated.
