My first appointment with them went great!!! I came out feeling much better and relaxed as I was expecting to. My masseuse was great and very knowledgeable. I forgot her name but I’ll call to ask so I can request her on my next visit. She is one of the licensed therapist. She wears glasses and short. I remember her saying she is a trainer as well. She was very polite and pleasant. She applied the right amount of pressure and everything from start to finish just flowed. I am very satisfied!!!
Been coming here for 3-4 years, we started off only utilizing the interns at a great price savings$$ then found some of the licensed therapist that do an amazing job. We have our favorites and if u want to make sure you can get on their schedule; you better book ahead. The owners are really good people
I recently graduated from Sterling Massage Academy and my experience with the bodywork institute has been phenomenal! Everyone who has worked for the institute has gone above and beyond my expectation. This includes the administrators, especially the instructors, spa members, and the cleaning crews. This institute helps a student like me to have a pleasant experience while learning a new skill. My instructors are exceptionally knowledgeable and compassionate. The learning material is organized which makes it easy to follow. This institute gets you ready to take tests like MBLEX Exam and stays with you throughout your internship process and with hands-on work. It simply provides quality in both, education/academic context and hands-on training hence making a great environment for learning. The administrative is remarkable too, helps you from the beginning process such as admission and all the way to getting your license, and stays with you till the end. They work hard every day to make sure students like me have the best experience to become a licensed massage therapist. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking to become a licensed massage/bodywork therapist. This academy provides support, care, and a very family-oriented environment. Thanks for all you do!
I graduated last November 2020 and now that I’m fully in the practice for almost one year I wanted to share my experience with this massage school. Before choosing this school I went to few other well-known schools. But when I met with Sterling and Vahideh I immediately felt like this was the right place. And I never regretted my decision. So much of what I learned here, from science behind our work to the healing and nurturing side - I use it all in my practice. I am grateful to all teachers at this school and the directors. It was an enriching and confidence boosting experience. Everyone is very supportive and genuinely interested in students’ success. It felt like family. Thank you so much!
The curriculum is very up to date. As a graduate from this school I can say that they prepare you very well for the spa life. Also instructor Frank Lopez went above and beyond teaching Swedish techniques and teaching us the plethora of modalities one can achieve as a massage therapist.
My husband and I have been coming here since February 2019. We try to have massages every 2 weeks. We’ve seen many of their therapists and most of them are great! We do have our favorite one, Beatriz. Deep tissue with her is fantastic but the Swedish massage with hot towels is just divine. It’s easy to schedule appointments and prices are fair if you want to have a massage with an intern, prices are even lower. The place is nice and clean but do not expect low lighting, robes and candles. Sterling is a health center and will provide you a great service but not so much of a Spa feeling. Although Beatriz’s room looks awesome!
Less than one star. We booked our appointments a week in advance. We received the receipt via email for the appointments. The spa has a cancellation policy that you will be charged the full amount if you cancel within 24hrs. FOUR hours before out appointments, that we took off work to attend and had been looking forward to...the spa calls to tell us that our appointments could not be fulfilled and that we would now be charged a higher rate. This is very unprofessional and uncomfortable to either cancel or change the price right before an appointment. How can you trust this spa won't have a completely different price when it comes time to pay? How is it reasonable that the spa cancels or changes an appointment within four hours of the scheduled time and then charges a fee to the client?
I am a student and current massage therapist intern at Sterling Heath Center. Let me just say, I love this school so much! The price is very decent and beyond fair for the quality that you will receive here. I love all of my teachers and the school honestly feels like a second home to me. I couldn’t imagine going to a different school. Everyone is very supportive, they work with you to make a payment plan if you choose and the owners and teachers genuinely want you to succeed. If you want an affordable, warm, happy and highly enducational massage school to attend, look no further.
I surprised my wife with the gift of a couple’s massage class through Sterling Health Center and Spa for her birthday. We were very impressed. We did the private lesson with Stella who was extremely knowledgeable. She took time to demonstrate each massage technique and then guided us through how to execute it on one another. So, it ended up being an hour and a half massage each as we learned new skills with a professional masseuse, both massaging and teaching. We were also impressed with how simple it was to implement the techniques taught. Overall, it turned out to be an even better gift than I imagined. Very glad I found this class. My wife loved it!
My bf and I had an amazing experience! He received his massage from Patrick and absolutely loved it. I received my massage from Adriana and absolutely loved it as well. We feel incredibly relaxed and will most likely be back!
