The School of Music is proud of its long tradition of high quality music instruction. Our self-selected enrollment of 200 undergraduate music majors is the right size for students to receive personal attention from our 47 artist faculty members, while at the same time having opportunities possible through a full scale music operation.
We provide students with a wide variety of first-class performing opportunities, including symphony orchestra, band, choirs, opera, jazz and chamber music.
While at Stetson, you will have the opportunity for unique ensemble experiences, including on-campus performances, local events, and travel (recent trips include our Concert Choir tour, the Stetson Women's Chorale performance at the National ACDA conference, and the Orchestra summer trip to Ischia, Italy). At Stetson, students can develop their many talents by auditioning and performing in several ensembles in the same semester!
Explore a variety of degree options that you can complete in 4 years, including traditional degrees such as instrumental majors and music education to cutting edge work in music technology.
If you are thinking about attending Stetson, give us a call or send us an email. We can arrange for you to visit, audition, hear a concert... to become familiar with us and learn how we can be the best choice for you.
