Steve's Guitars has been in the Dinkel Building since 1993 and has presented live music every week for the last 20 years. Our music room is not a bar, restaurant or coffee shop but rather a unique venue that puts the music as the first priority.



"Been in business in Carbondale since 1993. Since then, our intimate, music-listening room has presented hundreds of talented musicians coming from all over the states and foreign lands. Our mission is to promote good live music in a room where the top priority is the music. We are not a bar, or restaurant. We just want to provide the best possible place for musicians to display their songs."

This venue is incredible!! The acoustics, the wall to wall guitars, and the comfortable theater seats. Great place to see local musicians leaving it all on stage. Also able to meet Steve, and he is a genuinely beautiful soul with a passion to share this space and enjoy good music. Our little mountain town is lucky to have this venue, what a gem.
Great place to see and hear live music. Look up streaming Steve's at grassroots tv.org .Every Fridaynight 7:30-9ish.on YouTube you honestly don't know who you will see.
This place chronically doesn’t pay their musicians who play there. 50% cut of door sales?? No response when folks try to collect their earnings?? Support local music - not this place.
Such a unique spot for musician lovers, guitars and other musical instruments cover the walls. I often here some great music playing when I walk by

Intimate venue blanketed in an eclectic collection of guitars. Great for solo or small acts to play in, especially warm acoustics.
