My lawyer at this firm helped me through my case. She provided very sound advice, and was extremely professional throughout the proceedings. While I've seen other lawyers show up just before the court proceeding started, my attorney came early, sat with me, asked how I was doing, and explained everything every step of the way--even if I had to ask multiple times. She defended me, had a very sound, rational mind, maintained her composure and calm, did not let me get bulldozed, and worked as best she could towards the best possible outcome in spite of many things. I would readily do business with this firm again, especially if I work with the same attorney.

I was referred to Stiles Ewing Powers by a friend. I had the pleasure of working with Adam Rellick in a divorce case and another legal matter. I was very impressed from my free telephone consult to my first meeting at the law firm. At all times I was greeted and addressed with professionalism by the firm and Mr. Rellick. Mr. Rellick not only handle my legal cases with knowledge and professionalism, he genuinely cared. He knew I was going through a tough battle legally, emotionally and mentally. He walked me through the legal process, explain how it would or wouldn't affect me. He also explain that COVID had the courts closed for months. So I knew up front that it wasn't going to be a quick case. I felt his pricing of all the hours of work he put into my case was fair. If I had questions he would take time to answer them and reach out to the firm to get clarification or a second legal opinion if it was needed. I felt Mr. Rellick had my best interest at all times during his presentation of me. I felt the out come of my divorce was not what I had originally expected; but, how the Judge ruled was a better outcome for me in the years to come. Stay away from this firm! Clayton Worthington who handled a part of my case would intentionally prolong phone calls so that he can bill me "accordingly". At times he sounded like he was intoxicated Or intentionally s-p-e-a-k-i-n-g s-l-o-o-o-w-l-y . he never gave me a straight answer to the most obvious questions. he always tried to keep me wondering and in fear of the future outcome. he convinced me that he needed to be present at a pre-trial so he can charge me. he billed me extra for a "consultation" telling me about his sons baseball practice. we knew the other party wasn't going to show up and charges were going to be dropped. yet he still sold me fear without DA having any evidence. inconsiderate and only cares about money. He was not respectful of my time yet felt like his time was so precious. I wasn't in a best situation at the time and he took advantage. Mollie Barton was his partner in crime, they made me hire two lawyers for representation so i was being billed every time they "spoke"

After a very prolonged pre-court battle costing me tens of thousands of dollars my attorney with this firm withdrew from my case for personal reasons two days before my trial. I was given a replacement and was told that he could learn the six months of material in the 48 hours that we had. If that was the case, why did they allow this to go on for six months with a bill over $50 K if it was something they could do in 48 hours???? Needless to say, court was not very favorable for me because of this. I would never use this firm again.

Words cannot describe how pleased I was with the representation of Clayton Worthington. As he was leaving a previous firm, I was asked whether I wanted to remain as a client of that firm, or whether I wanted to continue with Mr. Worthington. I could not have made a better choice than to remain with Mr. Worthington. To elaborate, just a bit, Mr. Worthington was patient, but yet, he kept me on track and helped to keep my focus as I was experiencing a difficult time. He listened, well, to what I wanted to accomplish and continued to ask necessary questions as we moved forward without making any assumptions without consulting me. As things were reaching a closing, I had complete trust in him where I even put aside my own personal subjective opinions and allowed him to remain objective and provide me with solid options. While I do not suspect that he has gone through his own personal concerns comparable to my own, he remained understanding of my circumstances and showed an amount of compassion that I would not have expected from an attorney of his caliber. As to whether I could recommend Mr. Worthington to others? Glad, and strongly! I was recommended to a partner at Mr. Worthington’s prior firm, but by coincidence and circumstances at that time, that person became unavailable, and my case was placed with Clayton Worthington. Being, myself, a prayerful person, my prayer was answered in having such a coincidence turn into such a blessing. I thank him for his work and his efforts to handle my case the way he handled it. Clayton Worthington was recommended to me by a lawyer colleague of his. It is now a recommendation I give to whomever reads this review. I will also recommend him verbally to anyone I run across who needs him. Clayton has a classy, commanding presence before a judge. Not only does he "know his stuff," Clayton is thorough and scrupulous. He is not the shyster attorney so prevalently joked about in lawyer jokes. He wins the argument honorably, and I respect that about him. If you want an attorney that is thorough in his work, quick on his feet, and honorable, Clayton Worthington is that attorney. He went above and beyond to help me with his professional advice in any ways possible, considering my specific situation as an indigent litigant, following my divorce proceedings. He didn’t judge or discriminate me based on my current financial situation but treated me with care, while exhibiting willingness to give me the best remedies for my current legal situation. Most importantly he was open, honest and compassionate about any possible outcome in my situation if I hire him. Honesty and compassion are rare to find qualities in this field. He can bring back your faith in humanity before all. Mr. Worthington is most definitely a rare find, based on my previous experience with other attorneys.
