Sometimes people ask where the name Stiletto Sweets came from... I actually have my husband to thank for that. I happen to love shoes... and I wanted a name for my business that was sexy, confident, and demanded attention, while still being a little about me. And so it began in October 2010... it’s been a wild ride since.
Our mission is to give you cake and cupcakes so good that you don't know what to do with yourself. We'd tell you more, but it's more fun for these people to do the talking:

How do I order a cake?
Message us on facebook or send an email to [email protected]. First, tell us how many people you want to feed and your event date. Then, share preferred colors, and any specific design ideas you have, but keep in mind that Noddea is the cake stylist, and the final product will likely reflect her style, talent, and inspiration. If the date is available, we'll reach out to you so we can make sure we get all the information we need from you about your cake. Stiletto Sweets is a one woman show, so the number of cake orders we can accept is limited. At the time you place your order, we'll ask for detailed contact information, event information, preferred pick-up or delivery times, and depending on the size of your order, a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date.
How do I order cupcakes?

Cupcakes are sold in quantities of 12, with a minimum order of 12 of one flavor. Remember, Noddea is the only cake stylist, so the number of orders we can accept is limited. At the time you place your order, we'll ask for detailed contact information, event information, preferred pick-up or delivery times, and depending on the size of your order, a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date.
How far in advance should I place my order?
Um... as soon as you know you want a cake! As soon as you *think* you might know, even. We can only accommodate a limited number of cakes, depending on how complex the orders are. Therefore, we recommend you place your order as soon as you know a date for your event. Because Stiletto Sweets is one of Noddea's passions but not her 9-5 gig, she only has so much time to prepare your cakes. Last-minute orders aren't impossible, but can't be guaranteed. For weddings and large event cakes, a minimum of 90 days advance notice is requested.
Can you make me a cake just like... ?
Here’s the thing. We actually don’t want to. But that’s a good thing. The cakes featured on our site and facebook page were made for past clients, and are meant to serve as examples of what we can do. Stiletto Sweets specializes in unique cakes for each individual, and therefore, will not make an exact replica or copy another artist's cake. Noddea will happily use your ideas and photos and her past cakes as inspiration for a new custom cake made especially for you. It's a goal for each of our clients to feel like they're getting something that is one of a kind!
How much are your cakes?
How much ya got? Just kidding. Because they’re all different, there is no set price for a Stiletto Sweets cake. Creations are priced according to a variety of criteria. The base price includes the layered cake with flavored buttercream filling, buttercream icing, and a fondant covering. Other factors that add to the price include cake sculpting, decorations, detailed piping, painting, airbrushing effects, or other time consuming design elements (like creating characters, whether it be your favorite droid or a Saturday morning cartoon star). We're happy to provide you with a quote upon request or an estimate when placing your order. However, the actual price may not be available until closer to the event date and it may be subject to change if necessary to compensate for unexpected time or level of difficulty. All cakes must be paid off in full with cash or check. VISA, Master Card, Discover, and American Express may also be forms of payment with a small additional fee.
Do you work with special dietary requests?
Unfortunately, no. Right now we are not currently making any sugar-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan cakes. At this time, anyone with strict nut allergies may not want to order a cake from Stiletto Sweets, or will want to make us very aware of the fact. Allergies can be very serious and we use products that we can't guarantee haven't been manufactured around nuts.
Do you make charitable in-kind donations?
Absolutely. We’re all about supporting our community. Stiletto Sweets chooses to support the following two efforts when it comes to in-kind donations: 1) Events/Programs that support the advancement or celebration of women, and 2) Events/Programs that support the theatre arts. If your cause fits one of those two categories, feel free to contact us through the form on our site.

Do you deliver?
Outside of Grand Rapids we *can* deliver. It comes with a flat fee per 25 miles that varies with the average rate of fuel prices. Ask us about it!
Do you ship?
Not yet, but we’re going to work on it soon. With that being said, here’s a shoutout to our fans and friends in Indiana, Ohio, Utah, New Jersey, and New York who are hoping to be on the receiving end of the test runs. When we are able to ship, you’ll know... that’ll be a big ‘ol announcement.
