A light touch therapy that is used to tune into the whole of the person & to sense the places of blockages, stasis & stress. Focusing on the health & allowing that to guide the session as to what needs to be worked with & at what pace. This therapy is over 100 years old & although very popular in the UK & Europe, slow to take off in the States. Its not Reiki & its not head massage.....its based on what the therapist is able to palpate through a trained, skilled sense of the cerebral spinal fluid (CSF), the craniosacral motion that exists in each one of us & the ability to sit & be with whatever is present & whatever comes up. Its a way of accessing that stillness that is under all the layers of life - that vital & powerful stillness that everything arises from but so often forgotten about. That place of stillness is the basis of our health, if we can find our vital stillness we can allow for healing & releases of what is holding us back emotionally, mentally, physically & move towards optimal health.
Anybody can benefit from a session. Its safe for all ranges of ages & for those with acute or chronic pain & discomfort, it can also be used to maintain health & well being for those who suffer no symptoms. It is gentle, non-invasive & although subtle, its deeply altering - often shifting & realigning from the core of your being through to your everyday experience of life.
