my puppy went here for immediate care once she showed signs of being sick. she had a 9 a.m. appointment where she was supposed to receive IVs. at around 11:30 a.m., they called us saying that they weren’t going to treat her until they had money in their hands, despite us saying we’d pay them once we were off of school/work. they just let her sit there in pain and suffer. even after $1200+ spent on trying to get my pup to feel better, we still never got a clear answer on what she was sick with, so unfortunately she never got the treatment she needed. i truly feel like they didn’t try their hardest to care for her, as they said she wouldn’t eat/drink/walk, but as soon as we brought her home, she immediately started eating and drinking, but she was very weak. they tried getting us to pay them more money to put her down. due to the horrible treatment this place gave my puppy, she now has passed in peace in her loving home. 07/28/2017 - 05/28/2023 rest easy Amara, we love you so much.
Been bringing my pups here for wellness care but was pleasantly surprised how accommodating they were to get my pup Mitzi in for an emergency when I called same day. The front desk Kristina and Mandy are so helpful and kind. I could tell Dr Wilkins cared for my fur babies well being as much as I do and that’s all I can want from a vets office . Thanks again GHVS
My first puppy visit and they were wonderful with little Cerberus. I was very surprised at how reasonable their prices were. They even had a cute flyer that said all the animals they were seeing that day. My puppy's name was on it, it was such a cute touch. Nice to know in today's world that people still go that extra mile, even if it is small. I am lucky and grateful to have found them
Since I can't reply to your message, I will just write another review for you. You say that your staff put their “heart and soul” into take care of Amara, yet, you prolonged giving her IV fluids to help save her until you could get payment even after a promise to pay was made. I hope in the future you reconsider letting someones family member suffer in your care for monetary purposes. You say that you did this because she had never been seen there before, but you could have instead refused to allow her to be picked up until a payment was made rather than letting her SUFFER while she was your responsibility because a 16-year-old girl who trusted you to care for her dog was at school and her parents were at work. To say you are heartless and in this business for the money is giving you more credit than you are due. I hope that when your family members are sick in the hospital no one refuses to treat them because you haven't come to pay first. I would give zero stars if I could, and I would never recommend someone to bring their pet here unless you can pay for them first, unless you want your pet to suffer like Amara did. No need for another copy-and-paste reply, you have done quite enough of that already.
I would avoid this vet at all cost, the owner is older and is money hungry. She was very rude to my husband and insisted his dog needed to be euthanized even though she was clearly alive and wanting to be alive, if you bring your animal to this vet they will give you the biggest bill they possibly can!
I would avoid this Animal Veterinary at all cost, the owner is money hungry and her practice will try and make the highest bill possible, they are inaccurate with medical knowledge, for instance the owner said Amara was at least 6 years old when she wasn’t even 5 at the time, they were supposed to give her treatment but instead waited and gave my father a call saying he needed to pay more before treating her, with her kidneys failing she needed immediate care and they refused to give her that and tried to take credit for the little to no care Amara received from this place. I’m extremely disappointed with how unprofessional this business is. The owner is a little bit older, I would highly recommend going to Thurston county to get your companions taken care of!
The first thing I like about this veterinarian is when I call, you get a real person not a menu. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The bill was very reasonable. Sure will pass them on to friends and family. Thank you so much!
I had a great experience! They took me in when my dog had an emergency from a dog attack,! Now he's doing fantastic, stitches out June 15th!

After being with another vets for years, we needed to get our furry baby into a vets and grays Harbor vets welcomed me and my furry baby to their facility. Fiona my purebred boxer had a split nail up to the quick and needed to be looked at. Not only did Grays Harbor vets get us in the same day but they took care of the nail that day. They took time to listen and understand my concerns.
