Stillwater Bar, Stillwater, MT

We love this bar!! The views, the atmosphere, the people you meet, the fishing, the swimming, the casino machines, the cold beverages, the food. It is a great place to ride out and just have a drink and a bite, or we love to pack up the whole family and make a day out of it. Enjoy the lake/ river and experience all the amenities The Stillwater Bar has to offer. Hopefully you will get lucky and Miss Meridith will be behind the bar to dazzle you. Cheers

We loved this little bar!!! My brother, sister-in-law, and myself stayed one night in a little cabin a few miles from Stillwater. We were on our way to hear a folk band at the Clydesdale ranch. We just stopped in for a drink before the event but we ended up eating there instead of at the event. The food was fabulous. The staff was warm & friendly. The atmosphere was perfect. I stuck a five dollar bill in the jukebox and played all my jams until it was time to leave. The folk music event at the Clydesdale ranch was not what we expected. It was very difficult to hear the band over the talking of the crowd, we had a better time at the Stillwater bar, so we ended up packing up our chairs and heading back for another round of drinks and another fiver in the jukebox before it was time to head back to our little cabin for the night. Perfect evening as far as I was concerned. Thank you Stillwater bar!! You saved the night!!

If you want a bar with beautiful views and people who treat you like family this is the one. We had a wonderful time. #mustlovedogs Kid-friendliness: Lovely parklike area for kids to run around.

Great place to stop on a beautiful drive in a beautiful area. The staff is friendly and the prices are much better than anything in Whitefish.

Great place to swim, fish and eat.. the waffle fries are the best Parking: The parking depends on how busy the bar is Kid-friendliness: Great place for the kiddos to go swimming while the parents enjoy a drink

Closed upon our arrival despite Google saying it should be open. Not sure if just was just random today bc of lack of staff but sign said closed “no help.” Too bad. Nice kayak ride from our air bnb.

Always a great pit stop! Can’t beat sitting out on the deck with whatever crowd is there for the day. The drinks are all made well, food is delicious and the prices especially for this economy are more than affordable! There is plenty of space to sit inside, out on the deck or anywhere outside and people watch. The people watching is good as is the wildlife watching. Even if you aren’t running between towns this place is worth it as a destination of its own.
