St. Mark's Physical Training is a free boot camp exercise group. We meet Monday-Friday in the parking lot of the Cathedral at 5:30am. It is open to anyone!
STMPT stands for St. Mark's Physical Training. We are a community outreach ministry of St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral. We meet every weekday morning at 5:30am in the parking lot of the Cathedral here in Shreveport. We began as a small, dedicated group who were committed to making a change in our lifestyles towards healthy living through exercise and active fellowship.
STMPT may be sponsored by St. Mark's but it is a group open to anyone who is willing to make the commitment to join us at such an early hour! We are led by our trainer Jonathan Martin of Shreveport-based Achieve Fitness. This group is a free community outreach service of St. Mark's. If you are interested in joining us, all you need to do is come with water, a desire to push yourself, and be prepared to have fun!
