If I could give this place a zero based on the way I was treated by the older woman at the front desk, I would. I have never in my life been treated so disrespectfully in a place of business. I have a 18 year old pup that needed grooming so I made an appointment for him. I went in at the scheduled time and I was "greeted" by the woman at the front desk with an attitude asking me what I was there for. She told me I did not have an appointment. I explained that yes I did have an appointment that I spoke with a woman earlier in the week and I do not know her name. She proceeded to badger me about whom I spoke with. I then saw Debbie the groomer and mentioned that I did have an appointment and she said that she had a cancellation and she could see my pup. I said well that is good because I already had an appointment scheduled to which the lady behind the counter again asked me whom I spoke to. I again said I not know her name. At this point I am getting frustrated by the way she is talking to me. She said something to the fact that she does not know why I am upset that they are going to take care of him. She asked me for his fecal sample I said I do not have one, she then condescendingly said" well didnt they tell you that when you called" to which I replied yes, but I was told if I COULD get one bring it in. She then asked AGAIN who I talked to! She asked if they could get one and test it, I asked if it cost extra to which she passive aggressively responded, Yes, nothing is for free! I wanted to cry she was making me so upset... she was being so rude to me for no reason. I then told her NO, you can not get one and she insisted it was necessary for what ever was going around and blah blah blah..I just said fine, I was sick of listening to her at this point. Everything that spewed from this womans mouth was aggressive and rude. I told her she was upsetting me and she did not need to have a response to everything that I said. She kept insisting on having the last word. There was some discussion about me needing to fill out paperwork and she continued to be rude to which I finally had had it with her and asked her to quit speaking so rudely to me...she said she wasn't and I we went back and forth with words...I filled out out what I needed and handed her the tablet. I asked her if she needed my credit card for payment she said "NO" and looked at me and smugly smiled and said" Have a good day! I looked at her and said " I hope you have the day you deserve and walked out! I called my husband immediately because I was livid, crying and shaking. I told him we needed to find a new vet. My daughter went to pick up our dog and they informed her that he had a tumor in his mouth. This was news to all of us. I received a letter in the mail telling me they no longer could service my dog because of my NUMEROUS interactions with staff debating services and diagnosis given which I find appalling because this was my second time in. I think before they made this poor decision and judgement call they need to look at the woman at the front desk and give her some much needed training in customer service. If she doesn't like her job there go get a new one. Do not impose your negativity on others, shame on you lady! Disappointed to say the least.
The 2 front desk people gave me quotes to groom a cat and a 100lb Goldendoodle, my exact words. $40 for the cat, $90 for the dog “same as a standard poodle “ their words. I was charged $60 for the cat, and they gave me a $7 credit, apologized for the overcharge. But they lied and denied giving me the $90 quote. “We don’t give quotes “. I left 4 messages for Dr Byrne to call me, she never did. Unprofessional, unaccountable, dishonest and vindictive. I asked Patricia to email my pet’s records to me by the end of the day. She didn’t, so I called and left a message. Within a few minutes, a tech who worked late called me and said she had taken care of it! Evidence of the extremely poor customer service provided or not! by the receptionists!
First, let me star by saying that my mom usually goes to Stockton pet hospital, not me, but even though I don’t go, my mom always comes home with a smile on her face, and she always stays late to talk to the employees. The employees always leave time to talk to my mom, and that really makes her happy. They always take care of our pets, like my kitten, joy. Joy is a super shy kitten, to the point where if anyone enters our house, even us, she will hide in my room until she knows who it is. The point is, when we take her to checkups there, she doesn’t hide or hiss at anyone. The staff are really gentle with our pets, and they’ve been taking care of our pets for as long as I can remember. All of the people who are posting bad things about this place seem to be nitpicking over the smallest things, because I seriously cannot imagine them being mean or forgetful about our pets. This is one of the best animal hospitals I've been to. The staff are extremely nice and the doctor is thorough. I took my kitten here when she was sick at 11 weeks old and this vet made sure she recovered. Now she's a large healthy cat that just had her first birthday!
This place is way to expensive and they parted ways with me without letting me know because they were charging me for another written prescription that would've been 30 days old made no sense to me but it's okay ill find someone for my cats that isn't all about money. Communication is the key. I had no problem getting them an exam my issue was the script was 10 dollars for 30 days okay good but asked if I could get a discount for the fee for another prescription since this was only good for 30 days and they don't do that. I have no problem taking my animals in for check ups they are my family. It was the extra money 30 days later for a paper prescription for food that I I just paid. So please know the exact reason.
I have taken my pets here for many years. I trust them with my fur babies. They provide excellent care for my pets, but they also care about you! They are highly skilled, compassionate vets that treat pets and their owners like family. Highly recommend.
My dog Bella was attacked by another dog and Stockton found room to see us immediately on a Saturday. Happy to say, her wounds are healed and she is doing just fine. Everyone here was so nice and caring! Thank you guys!!
Needed to get my cat Smokiee in for a check up and was given the best service possible. Great environment for a vet office and i was able to hold my cat to help with the exam. Was also offered a diffuser especially for calming my cats. So far the product and the exam have been helpful. We will be back for all other check ups and pet needs. We also buy our special vet diet from them as well and it’s cheaper then going to the chain stores.
Dr. Byrne always does such a great job with our pets cat and dog! We love this place.
Great and caring staff, great DVM in Dr. Byrne. If she is unsure of something she is not afraid to recommend a specialist. My family has visited this clinic for many years with many pets. We will continue to do so. They care for their clients as well as their patients.
