Student Organization of Stockton University of NJ founded in 2011 with an emphasis on promoting cultural awareness and diversity within the Campus
ASO WAS FOUNDED In 2011 by Adaobi Michaels-Ezeamama. The Organization is committed to celebrating and raising awareness on the African continent, culture and its people, with the aim to move the African Continent towards a better and brighter future one step at a time
The organization is dedicated
■To foster cultural and social ties with all people of African descent in and around The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
■To interpret more effectively the cultures, growing needs and developments of African nations to the campus and American Communities.
■To promote understanding, exchange, and cooperation between The African Student Organization (ASO) and other groups in and around the Stockton community.
■To serve as a resource and network for all people interested in Africa.
■To act as a community and support base for present and new students of African descent in the Stockton community
