Stoker Restaurant at Thunderhead, Steamboat

My review is really to call out Matt Douglas as the funniest most attentive waiter on the mountain… he made our first time at Stoker a true dining experience to remember Vegetarian options: Nachos

No wait, quick service, and delicious food! Had the soup and a flat bread for about $25. The Cobb salad looked amazing, I had to take a picture!

Excellent service. Food is okay- what you’d expect They do offer gluten free options. Instead of a bun, it’s two slices of Udi’s bread. That said, it’s frozen and then microwaved my bread was still partially frozen, and immediately crumbles. They need to toast the bread before putting it on a sandwich.

Not good at all...service was curt, from the greeting lady at the entrance asking for reservations when there was nobody sitting there...interesting and that should have tipped me off.... We persisted and sat and the the sandwiches were as bland and featureless as the service, awful combination of flavors...they need to review their menu seriously. Only good thing I found was the amazing view from up in the mountain that of course comes in its own without you having to step into this restaurant.... Granted I am speaking for myself and it was my personal experience but I would not come back there ever again it was that bad. Just get a sammy and a brew in the Grab and Go shop and you will be better off for sure and don't waste your time at Stokers "Bar" & "Restaurant"

Awesome service, unbeatable atmosphere. As with most resort food though it is ridiculously over priced. The food is delicious though!

Wonderful food, great drinks and amazing employees!!

Great service. Good beer selection. CAB chicken, avocado, bacon sandwich was good but too much mayo/aoli and so big you can't fit it in your mouth. I used a knife and fork and skipped the bread.

The food was FANTASTIC!! The service was horrible! I guess because I decided to eat alone in jeans & a T-shirt while my hubby took a nap I was considered not worth the waiters time. Also the fact that I ordered a salad was mentioned related to my "needing to eat more salads" when he turned in the order. The fact there was only 3 tables of people made it easy to hear! I had to ask for silverwear and flag down a waitress to order a drink since my initial waiter did not ask what I wanted. He never checked on me, he did side work, it was 2pm. VERY DISSATISFIED! Stars only for food!!!

No one was up front. Waited for 5 minutes. Sat down. Rude hostess barked at me to get out of the dining area and stand at the front. Zero friendliness let alone customer service skills. As if. I left.
