The Police Department's overall mission is to provide the community the best police services possible. We strongly believe that we can achieve our mission by rendering good customer service through a high level of professionalism and community orientated policing. One of the Police Department's goals is to maintain a drug-free living environment for the community. Because our neighborhood children are the future of Stone Mountain, we have a zero tolerance for illegal drug activity. Our objective is to keep children productive and drug-free. Therefore, if an individual possesses and/or sells illegal drugs in the City of Stone Mountain, our agenda is to seize their drugs, property, and money, but most of all their freedom.
