Stone Soup is a nonprofit that began in 1997 when an area group determined we needed a thrift store to help the community. For over Fifteen years Stone Soup has served the community and continues to grow. Donated goods are keeping our shelves, racks, and furniture room full. This merchandise is distributed at no cost to some, and sold at very low prices to others. The economic downturn is bringing more families through our doors. Households with limited or fixed incomes shop at Stone Soup, and are benefiting from the fine quality of donated gently used items.

We cannot accept:
TV's unless they are flat screen – No TV consoles - Automotive Products – Bean Bag Chairs - Baby Cribs - Child Car Seats - Baby Strollers - Baby Walkers _ Baby Swings – Pack and Plays - Carpeting - Christmas Trees (& Stands) - (Can only accept during November & December - we have no room to store them) Desk Top Computers (Can only accept Lap Tops in working order) – Large Computer Desks - Diaper Pails or Containers - Encyclopedias – Entertainment Centers - Gym/Exercise Equipment - Hide-a-beds - Large Appliances – Magazines - Mattresses & Box Springs (Not allowed for health reasons) - Potty Chairs - Printers - Sofa-beds - Waterbeds.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHY WE MUST RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ITEMS IN POOR CONDITION OR NOT SALEABLE. – IT COST US A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO HAVE THEM PICKED UP AND HAULED AWAY AND REDUCES OUR ABILITY TO HELP OTHERS AND ACCOMPLISH OUR MISSION.
