MacPhaidin Library serves as Stonehill College's information hub
MacPhaidin Library is named in honor of the college's 8th president, Fr. Bartley MacPhaidin, C.S.C. The building houses a rich collection of print materials, government documents and electronic resources. The bulding also features an electronic classroom for interactive research instruction, computer study labs, quiet study rooms and Ace's Place - the library cafe. The building is also home to the college's Center for Writing and Acadmic Achievement.
Our mission is to provide the college community with excellent information services in support of the college's mission and academic program; we also serve off campus users with information services in accordance with the requirements of our federal depository status and in other areas where resources permit
The library's resources and services support the academic programs of Stonehill College and meet the information requirements of faculty, students and administrative offices. The library serves as a focal point for research and learning on campus and symbolizes the college's commitment to academic excellence.
