Located in Louisville, Kentucky the art factory in the Paristown neighborhood offers tours twice a day Monday through Friday and a paint your own pottery experience and retail store Monday through Saturday.
On the guided Factory Tour you’ll follow the steps of more than 20 Louisville Stoneware skilled artisans who take the clay from raw form to completed piece. Along the way you’ll be able to touch the clay in its various states. Allow 30 to 45 minutes.
In the Paint Your Own Pottery Studio you’ll pick from a wide selection** of pottery pieces such as plates, mugs, bowls and platters. Using the same tools and glazes as Stoneware’s artisans, and after a quick tutorial, you’ll decorate your masterpiece. Once complete, your piece will be glazed and fired by Stoneware staff. After its time in the kiln, it’ll be ready for shipping (UPS shipping fee applies) or pick-up in about 7 to 10 business days. Allow 1 to 2 hours.
