UPDATE Dec 24, 2021 A month ago, they started asking for 10% more rent. The elevator hasn’t worked for longer than that. They are raising rent a whole 10% while providing less. Wow. If that’s not bad business, I don’t know what is. Hurricane Ida damage below. Nothing else around here looked so bad. Cheap construction?
I have had the most peaceful and reassuring experience at the River road Storage Post. My favorite specialist is Brandon Adams who has always patiently guided me through keeping my property safe and making sure I pay in a timely manner in order to keep to the terms of the storage rented. THANK YOU to everyone else I have met along the way as they also have been friendly.
I've had a unit at River Road Storage Post since 2008. The service there has always been impeccable -- helpful, competent and kind -- in short, humane -- a rarity these days. I've never had a problem with the unit's security or any kind of infestation by bugs. The facility is kept clean. I highly recommend. I heartily second and third if that's possible! the service that Brandon provides and agree that management should give him a raise and understand what an asset he is to the company.
I'm not sure what has occurred since these reviews were written, but I suspect Brandon has been writing his own reviews. My home was hit hard by hurricane Ida, so I decided we needed a climate-controlled storage unit after I found mold in a fourth room. I was told we were lucky to have found a unit at all, and I opted to move a 3-bedroom home into the 2nd to largest unit they had available on River Rd. After finally gaining access to the unit in person, I asked Brandon if the ceiling was normal. It looked like it might be building just a bit. He said it was normal. Days later, while trying to drop off 2 truckloads of items from my home, I walked into the unit to see a huge, bulging mass from the ceiling. When we tried to tell Brandon about it, he said it was impossible. After finally agreeing to look at it, he realized right away the error he had made, and he moved us to another unit that was smaller. He said this was all he had, and he told us to give him a call later so he could switch the rates to the new unit. I work with a disaster organization. We have been busy serving the needs of the area since Ida hit. A few days later, I walked in to chat with Brandon, and he informed me the rates had gone up so he could no longer honer any earlier rates. Before we left that day earlier, he said he would make sure our rate was adjusted. I cannot just ull my belongings out of storage. My home is inhabitable. As I type this, it is being gutted. I'm so beyond tired of the taking advantage of people whenever more money can be made. Don't pretend to be decent human beings. You are liars and crooks.
Super super nice and very efficient. Did everything over the phone, I just had to show up and finalize a few things. He walked me to the unit and showed me everything. Excellent prices! Great in person and over the phone customer service! Definitely recommend.
I like the Storage Post Self Storage for the drive-up storage units. They are very convenient for saving me time and they have the best price and promotions around. Other notables- clean property, easy rent application and professional service.
I have used storage units for a variety of reasons over the years. This was my first time using Storage Post, and I must say Brandon was amazing and has earned my business for the long term. He is very welcoming and professional. He also guides you into making a decision that fits your situation the best. 5 stars is an understatement.
New Orleans, LA. River Road. First rental of storage unit at this company. Prompt, courteous, attentive service given. Shown multiple controlled climate units of different sizes without pressure. Pricing was clearly presented before commitment. Contract documentation computer shown & signed was clearly explained page by page. Entrance and Exit from storage location was easier, and access to unit quicker, than my previous storage company. Have no information yet from my temperature and humidity device but the construction of the storage unit itself indicates better climate control than my prior storage unit. Picked this company because it was more convenient to my home location, but would do business with them again based on the initial service.
This storage company is the best! The units are immaculate and the staff is incredible. In particular the Manager Brandon was extremely helpful when i accidentally dropped my keys down the elevator shaft. Brandon went above and beyond to help me retrieve the keys. Thank you Storage Post and Brandon!!!
Brandon was very helpful! We were trying to clear out a storage unit, but misplaced the key. He was able to help us in a fast manner. It was a breeze! I was working with an elderly woman that could not remember where she'd placed her keys. THANKFULLY, Brandon was able to open the storage unit with no hesitation. He was willing to go above and beyond for us.
