Anastasia is fantastic. She made a really difficult process super easy. She is helpful and super fun to work with. The storage facility is clean and safe. It’s very easy to access and has great hours. I highly recommend this place.
Zero stars. ABUSIVE, POORLY MAINTAINED, RUDE, THREATENING. THE WORST OF SANTA CRUZ. The guy with the tattoos on his hands is the most un professional hire of all time. I helped a kind, professional, business woman from the Bay Area to Soquel. The facility had its roll up doors permanently screwed shut. Meaning you had to input a password for the door every single time. If you're unloading a huge rental truck, that's hundreds of times. Unnecessary. It's business hours and the roll up doors are all closed shut. Good luck getting furniture through a door. The guy was the most rude employee I've ever met. He called the facility "His" and when asked about the doors is reply was "I'll call the sheriff's and have you trespassed. For what? For me telling you this facility is a joke?! Don't waste your time money or energy. On top of that, the light switch in the unit fell off the wall exposing live wire in the unit. I hope everyone reads this before considering moving here. Guy was even a jerk to my pregnant wife when she asked to use the restroom in the office. He said she could only use it if she went number 1. I wish she took a giant number 2 to match your service.
The person managing in Soquel on the day I went to inquire about options wasn’t there initially and when she returned was the rudest of all the places I looked at. “What!” Was her initial greeting, then she didn’t want to show me anything because she was too busy, then she walked at such high speed I couldn’t keep up, then she told me I was standing too close to her. She volunteered nothing, made no effort to gain a sale, told me there was no discount for first month even though it said there was on line. Apparently she is always like this because while I was waiting someone told me she was “brusque “.so I went to Public Storage where the manager there was the exact opposite.
I was disappointed to hear that my Mom was treated so poorly because she wasn't the primary person on an agreement that had both of our names on it - "Only your son is allowed in here, we don't sublet here" Anastasia and Joe let me down with how they handled the situation. It sounded like things could have been prevented had they been clear to us both about the "Storage rules". All she really did was try to unload and organize our belongings. I don't usually leave reviews but this wasn't something I was going to overlook and or tolerate. Proceed with caution. I was reimbursed and I did find another Storage facility we're we are both welcome and treated with respect.
Anastasia and Joe are so pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was having troubles with my door sticking. Anastasia worked hard to make it right. This location is clean and not sketchy. I highly recommend it.
This is an outstanding storage facility -- I have tried multiple times to leave a review to let everyone know how great Anastasia and Joe are as site managers, but always had trouble with logging into to google etc and honestly, as an over 65 year old, feel that it should not be as task heavy to leave reviews -- but that aside-- you want to store stuff here. The service is immediate provided by Joe and Anastasia is impeccable, they are very knowledgable, will go the extra mile to ensure all is well and that you have full knowledge of procedures and access to your spaces. I have three that I am using to store family goods from two households, going to 6 households and with all the access requirements this entails Storage Mart Soquel have been exceptional in their assistance.
Site manager Joe was awesome and called me to help get me set up when the online form didn't work. He took action to get my business, they provided the best rate 1st month free deal when I signed up and the check in with him was super fast and easy! Clean, easy to park, easy to access with elevators and flat bed carts.
Today is was my last day at StorageMart and I must say- the care and consideration the manager had for me was incredible. Anastasia and Joe treated me with respect and just gave me human decency and handled any issue. She went above and beyond to say the least, from Listening to and my life’s frustration when I came in to pay my bill and doing more than her part to do things according to procedure and provide excellent customer service. The team at the Soquel StorageMart will make sure things go along as smooth as possible on their end to make you feel safe storing your items there, and I feel security is more than adequate. If any weirdos come around, they are managed to ensure the customers safety and their belongings secured. I almost wished I still needed to store items there, just to interact with the team! Also, Prices are the typical storage going rate and there’s also a good amount of carts to use and an elevator. In closing, Thank you so much for everything and making my experience with StorageMart memorable.
Clean storage facility lots of parking the managers inside the office were nice and made my check in real easy. Came by to clear out my unit and it was the easiest experience. Will be back in the future if I ever need storage again.
Had various old family antiques, furniture and paintings here in storage for years with no issues. Was very pleased with this place compared to other places in the past having pest issues an having my families belongs get ruined. Happy we found a good storage unit place that kept our stuff safe! Place was super clean and staff were chill when needed.
