The Story Arena is a multipurpose, covered arena located on US 82, west of the Mulerider Stables. The arena was funded with a gracious gift from Therral and Jan Story along with many other contributions from businesses and individuals. The Farmers Bank and Trusty Reception Center was built and named after the funds donated in order to build the reception center directly in front of the arena. The two of these make up the Story Arena Complex.
The Story Arena is approximately 2 acres under one roof. It has spacious bleachers fit to seat 1200 and 20 boxes along the arena for special seating (each box holds approximately 6 chairs). Barrel Racing alley, roping chutes and bucking chutes are all included with rental of the facility.
The arena rents for $400 per day. This includes the arena and reception center. All concessions are manned and ran by Story Arena staff.
The FB&T Reception center rents for $100 for up to 4 hours and $175 for a full day of usage.
