This coffee store has much more than just coffee! Their food, cakes and pastries are excellent - my fave chicken salad croissant - not your usual chicken salad - way better! The service is always friendly, helpful and respectful, no matter what you ask. I was recently given an egg salad croissant instead of chicken salad and did not realise until I was at work and opened it for lunch. I am really adverse to egg salad so gave to a colleague. When I let them know about the situation the next time I was there, about 10 days after, I was immediately given a replacement chicken salad croissant at no cost and no questions asked. Excellent customer service! Honestly, you will not be disappointed coming to this gem of a coffee, breakfast, lunch and afternoon coffee/tea spot.
Delicious coffee, super friendly and helpful baristas, and cozy atmosphere. Had to get bags of coffee to take home and enjoy later too! Small peppermint mocha, and two vanilla breve were so yummy!
My Mom and I stopped in for an amazing Banana Creamcheese cake. Absolutely delicious!
Stumbled upon this cafe as we were staying at an Airbnb nearby and was blown away by their grilled cheese ham sandwich. Vanilla latte was also perfect. Came back the next day to try the waffles
If you're looking for a breakfast place that sells huge, delicious portions, than Strait Coffee is your place! I like to create my own omlette, but you really can't go wrong with any of the breakfast choices! And even though you're going to be stuffed to the gills, make sure you pick up some pastries to go. My favourite is their cinnamon buns - no one else makes them quite as good!
Don't be fooled by the mall setting. The baked goods are excellent & well worth a stop / trip to purchase. Best lemon squares I've had in a long time. The coffee is excellent. I brought some Guatemalan organic beans home for the La Marzocco - I'm very happy I did but I wish I'd bought more. Very fine coffee & highly recommended as a medium roast.
On our way to Langdale ferry, we stopped at Strait Coffee 6 km south of Sechelt. We left with sandwiches, drinks and desserts for four, then ate at a ferry terminal picnic table. All agreed this had been a great choice for lunch. On the Sechelt Peninsula, you can find a few fast food chains but there are many better options. Strait Coffee's cafe is one of them. In addition to a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dessert items, they offer great coffee made from beans roasted near the cafe.
My favourite coffee on the coast. The baked goods are to die for too. We always make sure to stop here at least once when we visit. Recommend a visit and if you're fortunate enough to live near by, go frequently. Sure wish I could!

Delicious all the way around! Great coffee! Friendly service! Delicious baked goods! This will become my go to stop to and from the ferry! Yay! Looking forward to my next visit!
