Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy (CMT) is more commonly known as a chiropractic adjustment. Chiropractic adjustments help return the bones and joints to their normal position which relieves pain and allows the body to heal itself.
Acupuncture- Acupuncturists use very thin needles inserted into the acupuncture points along the energy meridians to regulate the imbalances of the energy. This stimulates the body's internal healing mechanisms and allows for the eradication of the disease(s).
Expectant Mothers- Pregnancy may cause neck, upper back, and shoulder pain which many expectant mothers have. As the pregnancy progresses, the uterus enlarges and the mother's center of gravity changes. This causes significant strain on the muscles and ligaments of the spine and pelvis. Chiropractic care can help relieve these common pains and allow the mother to have a more comfortable pregnancy. Chiropractic care also inhibits intrauterine contstraint on the baby and allows for optimal position of the baby for birth, which means a safer and easier birth.
Pediatrics- Children, toddlers, and infants are all prone to fixations of the spine and extraspinal joints. It is extremely important to find and correct any fixations that may have occurred from the birthing process, or the numerous aberrant motions children go through when learning to sit up, crawl, and walk.
