Brian and the rest of the staff are by far the best! Was there in our darkest time and went above and beyond to lay my dad to rest with the dignity and respect he deserved . Took extra time with us to make sure everything was done to our expectations . On a side note Brian is always involved in the community making him a true family owned community based business. His dedication to families and community set him above the rest. The Roxby family is forever grateful for your compassion and expertise.
I just want to say that Brian Arthur Strauch Funeral home was there in my time of need when my husband passed away . He was so comforting to myself and family he went above and beyond , I have no idea what I would have done without him . He also was there when my mom passed on and again did a wonderful job , made it easy for our family to deal with what we were handed and no idea what to do .
I felt very comfortable with Strauch Funeral Home. Jack McHale helped us through a very difficult time. We had our questions answered honest and openly. Details of every aspect of the services were reviewed. My Mom looked at peace, which made me smile when I entered the home. The staff was very accommodating to my family and our guests. There was hot & cold beverages provided along with snacks. Jack handled ordering the flowers we requested, he took our thoughts on my Mom and wrote a lovely obituary. The home has several TV monitors which they were able to show a really beautiful carousel of pictures of my Mom through her years with family & friends. The guest sign in book incorporated some of those pictures into the pages. The memory cards were very nice and we also received thank you cards with my Mom's picture on them. They are conveniently located off of I-380, they also have a decent size parking area. Many thanks to Jack and his staff.
Dealing with the loss of a loved one is one of the most painful things anyone can go through. My dad suddenly passed away, and Jack and his team stepped in to help me through the next steps of the process. When it happened, it was I was confused and a little overwhelmed. From the very start, they came to pick up my dad and Jack was extremely sensitive and supportive of the situation. I mentioned my dad didn't set aside very much money to cover his final services, but Jack still went out of his way staying extremely transparent and responsive throughout the entire process. Later, and once Jack was made aware that both me and my grandfather were combat veterans previously serving overseas, he went out of his way to thank us for our service by reviewing the invoice again to apply as many discounts as he possibly could to help me. When I first went inside his home, I noticed how extremely well kept it was and the warm positive feeling I got the second I walked in. Planning end-of-life services for someone you care about is not easy or something most people want to talk about and deal with, but Jack's patience, sensitivity and compassion helped make a bad situation go smoothly. If you need it, I HIGHLY recommend speaking with Jack.
We could not ask for more. They did a wonderful/great job and differently went above and beyond. They made a very hard day a little bit better for us. I can not thank them enough.
