A small family run Breakfast Cafe that is built out of straw bales. Year round except we are closed the month of January and one weekend in July
The Strawbale Café sits on Hanging Mountain Farm, a farm that Leo Aloisi grew up on. It was a dairy farm, that was sold to Leo & Anita in 1983, and we now currently produce maple syrup, some organic fruits and vegetables that we use in the Café, and sell on our Farm Stand.
The café is open year round, Saturday & Sunday 8 am to 12:45 pm. Friday's have been discontinued as of February 2017. We are currently closed for the Month of January and one weekend in July.
We are a Breakfast Cafe, that is open year round for your enjoyment.
In the 6 weeks of early spring (end of Feb to the 1st weekend of April) we switch to a smaller menu celebrating Maple Syrup producing season and offer just Pancakes & French Toast, while we make our own pure Maple Syrup that is used in the café.
Our Café is made out of Straw Bales and our latest addition is a outdoor seating area that you may enjoy in the warmer months of summer & fall. Come experience country dining at its best.
We celebrated our 10th year anniversary in business on March 3th, 2016, and are still currently going strong. Hope to see you soon.
