The two-floor atelier houses sculpture, site-specific installations, and works-in-progress yet accommodates space for the basic necessities of comfortable living and rest. Only the essential cabinets and drawers of the apartment are filled with the usual utensils, where as the non-essentials function as space for "Not Mugs", installations, and art supplies. Furniture shares floor space with "Not Furniture", and the walls are dressed with prints and sculptures made on the premises. Wood, steel, and stone are the majority of materials processed on the first floor, and the second floor serves as a clean space for eastern papermaking, Moku Hanga printmaking, and small hand-built clay works. Studio visits and over-night stays are by appointment only.
