We are a fully functional pottery studio that is home to artists and students alike. We also sell local and handmade goods (in addition to our pottery) in our gift shop.
If you're wondering about our name, it was inspired by Renee's love/hate relationship with stray cats. In Beaver Falls, like 'em or not, they are a fact of life. Like the residents of this beloved small town, they are resilient, unshakeable and courageous. Developing survival strategies and coping mechanisms to keep afloat, they inspired us to try new things and keep going. If they can survive each year, fridgid winter after blazing summer, so can unexpected pieces of life like art, beauty, and small businesses.
In addition, we at Stray Cat Studio are open to all the "stray cats" wandering among us: artists looking for a home studio to call their own, as well as those trying to find a marketplace that does not carry things made in China.
