Bringing my child to Strickland’s Martial Art classes has been the best thing I have done as a parent. His learning skills, his confidence and willingness to try challenging task increase every week. Excellent and very knowledgeable instructors, friendly atmosphere and superior quality of teaching. I can’t wait to see my younger one to be old enough to start tiny tiger.Thanks to Mr. Strickland, my son has found his passion and love for taekwondo. Highly recommend!!
I have nothing but good things to say about Strickland's, its instructors, classes, and community. The instructors are extremely kind and supportive to each individual student while still pushing them to gain skills and confidence every day. The community is, as a result, almost as nurturing as the instructors. Parents cheer other's kids on, and the kids are made to feel like they are a valuable part of a village. Strickland's is a key ingredient in my child's personal growth and development. Highly recommend.
I have 2 of my 3 kids just waiting for the youngest to be old enough in Strickland's Martial Arts and they are loving it! From the Tiny Tigers class for my son to the Teens/Adult class for my daughter. Both my kids are challenged in different ways from building confidence and strength to discipline and value! We absolutely love Strickland's Martial Arts! My son has ADHD and we have seen so many incredible benefits from him starting at the school. Mr. Strickland is so caring for all the kids, the instructors are awesome and it's like a big family! Highly recommend!
We have been coming to this studio for ~5 months and we absolutely love it. Their curriculum is very well rounded, as it includes a mixture of martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Muy Thai, and other styles. We think that is very beneficial as our children are getting more out of it than the average studio would offer! The owner is very friendly and greets the parents daily. You can tell he is a people person and loves to interact with the parents, and even goes in to assist the instructors and teach the kiddos. The instructors are all very welcoming and patient with the kids. As we all know, kids especially the little Tiny Tigers can be a little moody or disruptive. The teachers never once lost patience and never gave up on trying to include everyone. My younger child attends the Tiny Tigers classes and we have noticed a great improvement in his listening skills and respectfulness at home in just a short amount of time. My older child attends the Juniors classes and absolutely loves it. She enjoys the routine, exercise, and the friendships she has made in class. She looks forward to her classes weekly and even has asked to come on days we don’t normally come. I feel like we have made the right choice by choosing Strickland’s! Highly recommend!
My kids love it. Both my kids have repeatedly said how much fun the instructors make class. I’ve watched and seen my kids develop the perfect balance of fun, learning, and discipline. Strickland’s is by far the best studio we’ve been to. It’s also the absolute cleanest. Can’t say enough good things about it and I must that watching my kids in class is the best part of my day. Strickland’s Martial Arts is just AMAZING! They came and did a personal self defense course for our young women in church and they loved it. It was very interactive, personal, and an hour full of fun knowledge! They went above and beyond to treat our girls to some fun moves! Highly Recommend!!
Strickland Martial Arts has been amazing for my son. He has increased in confidence and concentration in class and in life. He stands up for himself better than he used to. The culture here creates a space where mistakes are for learning, and good humor is the general rule.
It’s been over one year since my current five y/o daughter started at Strickland’s Martial Arts. I can honestly say she is not the easiest child to work with, but with a high degree of professionalism, amongst all the instructors, and a lot of patience on their part she has found a home.
