Owned by Tamara and Craig Strickler, who since their start in the jewelry business (40 years ago) have been married, the Strickler Jewelers jewelry store and it's tenants strive to understand the lives of their customers in order to better help them with all their jewelry needs. Strickler Jewelers is located at 3210 South Lafountain in Kokomo, Indiana and has been in Kokomo since 1985. With Tammy’s roots in Kokomo, the couple decided to open their first store on Dixon Road in 1985. “Kokomo has been very good to us. We like to support the community and schools. They have given us so much.”. Craig and Tamara Strickler would like to share their diamond, gemstone, and precious metal knowledge and ideas with you! Tamara (who goes by Tammy) is a Graduate Gemologist, the highest achievement a gemologist can achieve from the Gemological Institute of America, and the only gemologist in Kokomo and the surrounding areas as well as an appraiser. Tammy and Craig, the owners of the store, are always in the store to help and serve you best.
Tammy sums up her last 40 years: “I love the diversity of my job. I love being on the [sales] floor and talking with people and working on repairs. It was hard when we started. There was a lot of work, and you paid yourself last. We have gotten to the place where we are enjoying the work without the stress. That is why I am here everyday.”
Craig added, “Our name is on the door, and it is important for us to give the best service that our customers can find. We are incredibly lucky to have found each other and a profession we both love so much.”
