Stride Rite

This is a store of generations. I got my shoes here when I was a kid and now I get shoes for my kids. I’ve always loved the atmosphere. They are SO great with kids of all ages. The people who work here care about getting your child a quality shoe that will last until they grow out of it. They make great suggestions. My kids are always on their best behavior because they know they’ll get a lollipop when we’re done. Highly recommend.

If you have kids and live in dc there's a good chance you've heard of it. We tried buying elsewhere but my kids wouldn't wear them when we got home. Not wanting to curse it but my kids love the experience and we always leave with something everyone is happy with.

Came here with 4 year old and 1 year old. Both had their feet sized for shoes outside because of pandemic. The employee took time with each of my kids to make sure they had the right fitting shoe and I had complete confidence in the fit. Both kids loved the shoes that the employee picked out. He was nice, thorough, and quick.

They spent 30 minutes patiently letting my shoe-challenged son try on every shoe in the store. The kind saleswoman explained all the options and differences in the brands and sizes. Prices seemed reasonable.

Great place to get shoes for kids. The staff is attentive and friendly. They measure your kids feet at each visit so you can be confident your child will get the correct size. They have a decent selection of shoes and will thoroughly check to make sure shoes fit properly. Toys are available to keep little people entertained.

I took my two daughter's here for back to school shoes, the service was impeccable. The employee listened to what both children wanted and we left extremely happy with shoes that fit perfectly.

The staff here really know kids shoes. They are phenomenal. The shoe selection isn't huge, but they have just enough to meet most needs. If you're looking to get shoes that are just right for your kids, this is the place to go.

Went to get my 13 month checked with some hand me down Stride Rites. They checked her and said the old shoes were fine and to come back for sandals when it warmed up. Great service and my daughter loved playing with the toys while we waited a couple minutes.
