Stuart Silberman, Psy.D., is a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Forensic Psychology. He obtained his doctorate degree from Argosy University Orange County Campus in Santa Ana, California in 2008. He holds a Master's Degree in General Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology in Los Angeles, California completed in 2002 and a Bachelor's degree in General Psychology from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon in 1999. He has an extensive background in crisis management, psychological assessment, violence risk assessment, personality disorders and major mental illness. He completed his Doctoral Internship with the Colorado Department of Corrections in Canon City, Colorado and spent time working with offenders of all backgrounds. In 2008 and 2009 he headed the Centennial Correctional Facility Offender with Mental Illness Program which focused on reduction of violence and increasing socially acceptable behavior. Since relocating back to Oregon, he has started a private practice in Clinical Psychology utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EEG Nurofeedback.
